You guys are genuinely good dudes. I knew i liked the videos, but my kid reached out to you because he recently wrecked his evo. It's been rough on him. Just the fact that you guys responded to him meant a lot. Really cool.
I'm noticing a dynamic with these builds: Lee is definitely more the purist while Dalt's more the mad scientist. Would love to see Lee doing a crazy fantasy engine swap of his own (The Redeye maybe?) and Dalt go down the purist route once things settle down at the shop. Great job cranking out two builds in a month!
Fun fact Synergy Motorsports used my car to mock and fab that C6 trunk tank on my A2W YSI Z06. Gotta keep them IATs down!! Cool seeing guys all over running the tank knowing my car helped to make it happen!! BTW with a cam and your muffler deletes you won’t hear noises from the trunk tank. I can’t with my setup with corsa sports.
Cannot wait to see the dyno numbers on this beast! It looks good, it sounds good, great build!!! BUT! "Two Guys, Lotsa Lube"...how did that make the final cut???
Extremely impressive work you guys have done. I’ve been following this zr1 build. I give a lot of respect for what a good mechanic he is. I just wanna know how much spending goes into this kind of build 😭😭😭
@@scraplifegarage then ignore I shall🤣🤣🤣 but much respect to you, after this zr1 series I’m a big fan and can’t wait for more. Opened my eyes to how much work goes into a 1000 hp build.
Fellow ZR1 owner. Congrats. Car is sick! Excited to see the next video on the dyno and track. Interested see your wheel tire setup and how it does with traction :)
some high pressure injector pumps require a low pressure high volume lift pump that is pressure regulated with an air separator canister that bleeds back into the main tank... that's how the #044 155psi 90GPH pump I have works, that and 10 gauge wires to power the three pumps because is has two lift pumps "one on each side of the main tank, 14GPM 80psi lift pump regulated to 45psi so the actual fuel injector pump does very little to bring it up to the rail".
HAHAHA, I was looking for this comment and can't believe it took me that long. AS soon as he said it, I figured everyone would be commenting, guess not, lol. Also, I think that's the follow up to, "Two Girls, One Cup" 🤣🤣
That look on your face early on when you were checking the oil pressure with the gauge in your hand then your face went blank for a second andI was like Nooooooo!!! Tell me it’s got pressure, then he smile. That was great 😂😂😂😂
9:10 the relay for the intercooler pump is supposed to be of a thermostatic switch same as the radiator fan... will not turn on below "?*F/C" to prevent ice from accumulating inside the cooler that would clog the intake. to that a handful of dry ice chunks in the water box just goes... if it was running full time "excessive battery consumption (-mpg)" and the grid would see -80*F thus clogging up with crystalized water vapor.
im gonna say 1,031 and what an amazing looking and sounding corvette, and for you to say it might be too loud means it must be unreal, you should get some decibel readings from it
ok, this is a quote from this video: "Absolute pain to get on, lots of heat, lots of lube, two guys. I plan to clean up". Not sure what kind of video would have that quote. 😱
My old LS swapped FD the engine builder forgot to put the oil galley freeze plug in on the front of the blog. Zero oil pressure. Had to pull the engine and tear the pan and front cover off to fix. That engine builder (in Essex... no names...) not there anymore.
You will loose control of pump via hptuners. Pump will attempt to kick on immediately vs the preset delay you see after start/ ac on. This pump draws hella amps and with give you all kinds of issues upon start. In accessory mode it will also draw enough power to kill your battery in about 10 min. It will work both ways but it’s best to let car control it. It gave me no speedo, no tach, check engine lights, abs and suspension warning all because car was “starving” of power on start up. Wired it to harness and all problems gone.
I believe this monster if a car will make around 1069. That Kong supercharger is beautiful, and that thing sounds so throaty🤤🤤. Can't wait to see what she does and how fast she is down the track. Amazing job fellas, you have one beautiful car there, now take her down the track and be dirty with her😂😂
We already watched it get pulled on HARD by the TT LS3 911 at the race event unless there was another ZR1 the same color one racing at the event. I would hope it make over 1k but I am guessing on pump 948whp and on E85 1073whp if I remember the build correctly.
I'm guessing about 776 to the wheel. I'd just like a piece of the burnt Vette and a sticker. Vettes are my favorite since I had my first ride in my uncle's orange 73 t top . It was the start lol.
