It’s wonderful to hear that Beatrix Potter is so popular in America too. They’ve made a new film about it now and my grandson is transfixed by it and my granddaughter’s favourite cuddly is her bunny. Your children are growing up in a beautiful, healthy and happy environment. They are beautiful too!

I love how you highlight how this lifestyle is romantic, even in the midst of all the hard work. It's so important to relish those moments. I need to remember to do this! I get so practical that I forget to stop and relish the beauty of what we are doing. Thank you!

When I see mounds of dirt I remember the little roads I used to make as a child for my Matchox cars. Even tho I was a little girl I loved those cars and trucks and double decker buses.

We love the Elliott Homestead! We are expecting our second child any day now, and if it's a girl, we are naming her Beatrix.

Oh my goodness, Beatrix Potter my daughter’s favorite author. Peter Rabbit, Tom kitten, and the puddle ducks, luv luv luv! My daughter is home schooled too. Getting your hands in dirt, the both of you are providing the ultimate life for your children, plus awesome wholesome meals. Enjoy every second of it!

Woohooo!! Another Beatrix Potter fan!! Have you seen the movie Miss Potter? Get ready for the tears.... Oh my, the tears.... I homeschool and read one of her stories every morning in the spring to my boys. Spring makes me think of her, too! ♥️

I just love your videos! You folks have such a sense of style and imagination, it's inspiring! I have loved Beatrix Potter since I was a young boy and ate my cereal out of a Beatrix bowl. I couldn't wait to get to the bottom! I must find a set for my grandchildren.......thanks for reminding me! I will be following your adventures, and have pretty well convinced myself that I need your books! We have about 260 onions in the ground, carrots started in containers, about 400 potatoes in, and overwintered garlic. Salad beds will go in this weekend. Tomatoes have true leaves now and are happy in the greenhouse for now. All of my big beds have been worked and are under tarps for a bit longer, they will be direct seeded with green beans, squash, field peas, cucumbers, etc......we're pretty far ahead of your weather here in Alabama. Thanks for sharing a beautiful journey!

Your videos always make me smile. I love the info and great tips and resources, but I especially love the wild and free little humans running around. It's totally my homestead! There is never a dull or quiet moment around here. And I think it's the perfect way to grow up.

The idea of multiple gardens is expanding my horizons. ;) We've just been aspiring to have one garden, but the artist in me finds this creative idea you're presenting so appealing! Thank you for sharing your process with us!

I can't wait to see how everything turns out!! I Love Beatrix Potter, and try to get my hands on anything "Beatrix". lol I have movies for my grandchildren... books, and books, and movies for ME! 😀 I'm trying to find as many plants, trees, roses, annuals, and perennials as I can find that are pictured or mentioned in her works, and also newer books about her diaries and such. It is a shame her gardening diary went amiss. It would have been LOVELY to read. 😞

Love your videos. So beautiful and magical. So happy for all of the wonderful projects you have going on though. One sidenote though, and I know the darker lighting is very signiture your style and I love it, but sometimes I almost have to squint a little in order to clearly make out your facial expressions. Could just be my blindness though. Keep these videos coming I can't wait to see what's next! ♥️

Were you able to get all the supplies for the wattle fencing off of your property? What works best for the weaving?

Hi, I found your channel through the Rhode's GAFT, and again from their premiere - so I subscribed. I moved to the north Olympic Peninsula about 4 years ago: I probably get more rain than you, but only 14"-18" a year. I love this Garden playlist! Here's my question: if you are growing spring crocus, do you also grow saffron crocus in the fall?

I absolutely LOVE your channel. Your videos are great! You're informative and fun, and the videos are well produced. If I can give you an honest constructive criticism though, it would be this: In your wonderful narrations, you do say "me", and "my" alot in referring to your garden, bees, this, that, etc. When it seems like you have a whole family and great husband who help make that whole scenario work, and it seems as though those fantastic narrations, on excellently shot, edited, and produced videos, could stand to include more "we" and "ours." Again, I absolutely adore the channel, but it would seem much more genuine if you included your family more in the way you word your narrations. I'm a big fan and fully support the channel, just offering a bit of real world response to what seems to be a well thought-out, and put together youtube channel.
