Meet Woodstock our new Sheltie Puppy! Sheltie is short for Shetland Sheepdog, from Scotland. He's going to be a very energetic little guy, but we are very excited to have him join our family. Follow along and watch Woody grow up, we will pass on anything we learn along the way and would love to hear from more experienced dog owners too!

We just got a 6 month old sheltie. 5 days and housebroken. We always got 8 week olds in the past.

I just got a sheltie on 23 April 2022. Challenge to get him to remember where to do his business. Mine is 12 weeks old today!

I have a female sheltie and she is four months old. We are struggling with housetraining. Any tips? I work from home, she is taken out frequently and kept in a cage overnight. She does not have any accidents in her cage. I have had her for about 6 weeks.

We would always take him outside right away if he had an accident inside, like right away. We didn't scold him, just took him outside. I also work from home so I would always be taking him outside even when he didn't have to go. Many times during the day we went outside and nothing happened. Eventually he would go and we would give him lots of praise. Lots of praise. Eventually, outside just became "the place to go". Good luck.
