Jimmy has reached the point like Adam did with his s13 has were there first drift cars are like the pride and joy and they don’t like messing them up or drifting them unless it’s with the homies if you don’t wanna risk crashing drive a car you don’t car to crash honestly
@Michigan32 I’ve re-read that comment multiple times…. No matter how I try to stumble my words, I can’t ramble on like that without running out of breath. 😅 Pretty basic stuff actually.
It’s his own fault anyways, he whacked on the angle too hard and person behind didn’t expect it. He needs to drive the 350 more and not care. Only way he’ll get better.
End of vid thoughts: yeah might be time to retire the coupe from normal events. Random tandem trouble seems too overwhelming… other than that. I love the CT crew! Thank you Adam for playing with Jimmy’s car. I like how it makes you look normal sized you giants
@@sniperzdb09 i agree. unfortunately like alot of these youtubers, they build cars beyond their skill level, pouring time and money into these things and by the time they go to actually use it like a drift car, it gets dinked and hardparked for the rest of its life. to be fair, jimmys car was always hardparked, it just happens to be aligned as a drift car occasionally.
First thing I was told when I started going to the track was "never race something you don't want to crash". Sucks but part of the game That being said, this was one of the better recent videos, personally I like the driving vids
nah, BS when you see someone with a pristine drift car, and THEY them selfs are NOT ridding doors in front of them.... DO NOT RIDE THEIR DOOR...... plain and simple. could have been avoided. you get 50+ laps in an event like this...and no on cares on one of those laps you got 2-5 inches from someones 1/4 panel... someone does care if you hit their 1/4 panel for no reason....
theres a difference in "not crashing" vs getting hit by someone you arent even driving with. If lz was the one that did that he wouldnt care and thats part of the game + theyre boys and thats that. Id be tight too if some rando hopped in behind me and smoked my rear quarter wouldnt matter the car.
I wonder why the DRIFT coupe keeps getting hit🤔🤔🤔 lol I always love the drift videos idk who wouldn’t, they’re always some of your best videos! Miss the old days of you and Adam shredding up at Thompson
Hitting people while drifting doesn’t equal skill and that’s what most seem to think. Being close without touching or hitting is more impressive. Also. If they ain’t the homie. Unless they said it. Don’t get close enough to touch them.
Clearly damage is inevitable, every time you go out for a tandem you’re accepting the liability of literally totalingggggg your car. And I’m not trying to talk shit or anything like that. But if you’re driving with a set group of people and no one else all day, then out of no where, another group decides to invite themselves in then and then crashes into you. You’d be upset regardless the situation hahaha its not the damage but how it was caused. BUT, it’s spilt milk, I’m gonna fix it and continue to drive with my friends! Drifting is destructive, but you can still be respectful
Don't explain yourself man, you build your cars to such a high level all by yourself nothing wrong with taking pride in your stuff and your work. No surprise your bummed about the damage, Love you JIM
don't have to explain yourself. You have every right to be pissed when a random guy crashes a tandem and does not respect the distance to a driver they've never driven with before
Keeping the positive vibes going: 1: LOVE drift content, so I don’t know who told you that. Maybe it’s just me, idk 2: love seeing badass RU-vidrs cross into each other videos. Sometimes you wonder if there’s any respect between them, so it’s cool to see Taylor Ray and Collette pop up in videos. Collab with Taylor in the future? 🤷♂️
a lot of people have been watching drifting on youtube for like 6-7 years now, on 20 different channels. Its only a matter of time of watching countless hours of people skidding about till it becomes mundane.
@@cozza819 sure, mundane to some people but I’m just saying I like it. Just my opinion. I get a lot of tips and techniques from watching other people drive sometimes that have helped me progress.
Blows my mind that you'd say folks here don't like Jimmy's Drift Content..! I live for these videos! The garage videos are the bonus content to me - Jimmy driving with friends is my favourite! 🙏😁
I think we learnt today that Jimmy needs to drive more. I don't mean that in a disrespectful way, not knowing your car is set up that badly and just trying to struggle through it, says to me that Jimmy really wants to drive more but like he mentioned people enjoy the building car vids more than the driving ones. So rather than multiple sessions and refining both car and technique more often, Jimmy builds cars and they sit around. After all, YT is his job so its smart and I get it. Me personally I like both building and driving vids. Nothing better than watching a master piece come together and then seeing it out dong its thing, it is the best. Watching the way it comes on boost, how it sounds and performs and all that good stuff. Anyway Jimmy love ya and keep on keeping on.
difference between him and adam is, jimmy actually goes thru the process of working on the car himself, unlike adam who tells his team what to do... and almost doesnt touch one bolt.
@@bryansigamoney7427 Jim is my favourite person to watch on RU-vid, his shows the true passion and enthusiasm. Aswell as shares his knowledge. Someone who is wanting to get into tuning myself his videos are great.
Dude, fuck who doesn't like drift day videos, they are awesome seeing you get seat time is great, always a nice change of pace from just working on the cars.
Jim we enjoy all content that you make no matter drifting working on cars or just chill we always will support!! Keep it up homie Finished the vid I got almost more mad I feel than ole jimmy mane when dude hit the coupe like man that thing is so damn clean…
I really enjoyed this type of video, where you go to the track and film working out the issues that you're having with the car. I think all of that is really valuable information to share for people just getting into drifting, and it's also very interesting to watch from a viewer standpoint
Building custom long travel front suspension for buggies I learned Ackerman and steering geometry has a bigger impact than you'd think. Makes sense that applies to drifting also since drifting and off road racing kinda have similar driving styles.
Next bump won't hurt as bad! Haha! I spent months building my dream Gibson flying V. First show I played, covered the back in the worst buckle rash. After that it was a tool to rock with, which is all I wanted. This is your flying V Jimmy. Rock with it.
I love the drift day videos! It's nice to see you actually drive your cars. Back when you were ripping the cherry hatch around with Josh and Brian were some of the best
Sucks that the S13 got hit and damaged, missing that gear caused the accident. Super unfortunate but that’s drifting brother. Got love and keep pushing hard!!
Okay I love drift the drift videos man whoever told they aren’t the best are sleeeeping! Shitty the s13 got hit but definitely think that’s just like drift with the bros and shit who know your driving and keep the Z for random events and shit less hassle on you man. Love the s13 always it sounds fucking insaneeee. And let’s talk about how your almost at 500k?? Insane bro been here since the beginning
If you're getting this nervous and upset about a random driver's drift tap on your car, it's because not so deep down you know you shouldn't be drifting that car at public events with strangers anymore. She doesn't need to be a garage queen, but she needs to be respected equally as much as the time, money, passion and effort you've put in to her. She's also just like you said, endangered, and a modern classic. Fix it, dial it in, and save it for time with your friends. Use the 350Z for what it's best at. Being a fun, affordable, good looking drift beater.
Glad I’m not the only one that prefers shop/build videos over the drift videos. Same for the other RU-vid drift dudes too eg: LZ, Strapnick, Papa Tom etc
Jimmy my guy, keep the head up high! It sadly happens to the things we love but we always rebuild and make better those things ❤️❤️❤️ I watch every video you post because it make my day 100% better, and you’ve given me my goals of becoming a proper drifter in my lil Colo and soon Titan swapped Z, big love my guy from the MOUNTAINMan
Jimmy I really hope you going to hyperfest this year, my girlfriends birthday is on the Saturday may 14th and we are both huge fans all she wants for her birthday is to meet you and take the Jeep we built off road lol
It's so crazy to think that a little bit of suspension adjustment will make a car feel and drive so much faster. Watching 2nd gear struggle in the beginning vs. Adam running 2nd all the way through at the end is mind blowing.
I love the drift videos but I always love watching you drift in person. Can’t wait for the events in Ct and hopefully a ride along being that I have a helmet now. Was so bummed when you asked if I had a helmet and I didn’t 😂
@@NovemberFoxtrotRC that dumbass logic is why peoples car get smashed "SaYs WhO ThOUgh". Maybe the 5 people who already were planning to drive together...
@@NovemberFoxtrotRC if you get sent out with people you don’t know (it happens) common sense would be to leave some room for error…. Atleast that’s how me and alot of others see it
Glad to see some more drift content - either someone told you wrong or you're staring at view count too hard. Sucks about the quarter, but it is what it is - just stoked to see you getting some seat time in.
The drift videos are the shit. I really enjoyed watching Adam help get the car dialed in with all the tech talk and stuff, it's super helpful. We all need some friends more knowledgeable about that stuff and unfortunately a lot of us lack that. It's hard getting into the scene as a youngin. That being said if anyone might know why my e36 doesn't self steer please lmk. The switch from an is300 to an e36 has been super difficult for me and I'm really struggling with transitions.
Theres three kind of people who watch his videos -People who like mechanic stuff and mainly watch him fix or build stuff -People who mainly watch his drift videos and go back to his older videos over and over -The Golden Retriever happy when he posts, and loves every video Im all 3😂
I loved this video! No idea why others wouldn’t want to stick around for your drifting content! Sorry to see the 13 get hit though, I feel your pain. I’d be scared to go full send with my S15 anywhere near people I don’t know for the same reason
@@subarulegacy4203 if you can't take the heat then stay out the kitchen. Anything can happen on the track, probably better off not tandeming with the pretty car in general.
Dump trucks sometimes got those big signs on the back “construction vehicle do not follow” u should make a sticker like that saying “no random tandem do not follow”
I like drift/track day and i think you should record drift day (its content) plus its always nice seeing other ppl's perspective in drifting and the movements and control🤪 etc.. plus random tandems suck some times especially when touching happens🧐 [in other words always show DRIFT DAY!!!] Its also your first time drifting that track in the 1jz s13 so the adjustments was needed, faster turns as you said! Thanks Adam was there since he's use to the track so he knew what was needed😎
God dammit jimbo, I can picture the comment I left on the video when this car was done and I said “don’t drift this it’s gonna get hit and it’s too nice” and here it is, despite all that, love the driving content, whether it’s drifting, just ripping back roads whatever, I like watching you build cars but I wanna see you DRIVE them too, easy cruising, car meets, ripping on back roads, let’s see it all this year
dang shame when its someone that dont have car as nice as yours too Jim ..park it up keep for just the compound an with Sean an Lz this on my fav s13 . i would say one thing Lz knows his drift set ups also love how he is with all you boys he all ways trying make ya shine not just him mad respect
YOU took it to the track, YOU knew this would eventully happen, don't get upset when the inevitable happens my mans. jimmyfyeah up in here. Just raggin' on ya doood, good vid otherwise!
It's a mix of respecting other people's stuff but also anything can happen if it's avoidable avoid it why do you think Adam doesn't drift the cream car anymore
Always thought that you never got close enough to tap someone you didn't know or hadn't talked to beforehand . This is why often they will have different classes or groups .
i think it’s time to hang it up on the coupe for a tandem or aggressive drift car. just seems too sentimental and i know the feels. i would just take your time to make it an extremely dialed rowdy streeter show piece and slide it around at special events etc. always enjoy the videos man!!
Jimmy: does a tandem with friends and random stranger join in The comment section: don't drift it bruh Wtf, why would you join a tandem of random people before asking them?
When I saw Adam spin out in the your car I nee somethin was up! Impressive you were still keeping up with them even with a car that was difficult to drive. Cool that Adam was down to hop in it and rip it and help get it straightened out and mint for you. Adam can hop in any random car and rip it! Stay Sideways!
I really wana see jimmy build a fd spec drift car. Full tube front and rear with rear mount rad and so on. He doesn't need to compete but having a car like that will stop randoms from catching him let alone hitting him
"People dont like drift day videos"....... Uhhhhh...... Those people who do not like drift day videos are all dummies!!! Drift day videos are absolutley THE BEST!!! Keep posting videos like this Jim dog!!! Idk about other people. But, seeing/watching drifting and or driving videos is by far the freaking best!!! Watching videos of nothing but doing stuff on the shop kinda gets boring after awhile! Just my personal opinion!! Was super sweet seeing you rip dude!! Keep it up my guy and hope you're staying safe out there! 🤘🤘🤘🤘
I’ve read that if you’re using a micro SD card they tend to corrupt more often. Also you can “edit” the video and re-save it and it will fix the “0 Bytes” issue if that’s what you’re getting. At least that works in my Canon G7 mark III
