I love how Brynie has to keep chasing after him like a mum who’s child keeps running away 🤣 definitely gonna be handful to deal with but you can tell he’s gonna have such a good personality 🥰
Defo black (and carrying cream by parentage), the silvery seal colour is absolutely typical of a black foal and as his foal coat weathers it will appear lighter and lighter until he has his first shed 💙
@@HeadOverHoovesGirl Not sure which video you mean, but I would love a video dedicated to Millie and Ettie, talking about the weaning and plans for both of them going forward. 😊
@@Geeoorrggiiaa45 I have watched all the videos you are referring to, but still would like an update video, just because something has been said several months ago doesn't mean it's updated information.. Not sure why you are against a video dedicated to just Millie and Ettie? 😅
@@July25170 not against it , not our business & probably a very difficult decision to make . I’m sure when she wants to/ feels she can tell us , just like she did with Dora, she will.
Omg he is sooooooo gorgeous! He’s got personality in SPADES! Poor Bryni, every time she tried to graze on yummy gras he pinged off and she had to follow, you could almost feel the eye roll from her 😂😂😂😂😂😂 she’s such a fab mumma. ❤
Beautiful footage of this one! He's so full of life and I'm excited to watch more of his little antics. He'll be a good little tour guide for Bears new foul when it's time to turn them out. He's so brave! Congratulations 🎉! Love seeing the fam!
I absolutely love foals. The more precocious the better. He's just so handsome with a beautiful head. Congratulations. So looking forward to Bear's time 👍 Thanks for sharing
What a gorgeous little foal he is & spicy, lots of personality. You should call him Tigger as his stable name with all his leaping around. They both look so well. We definitely need more brother videos 🤣
Isn't he just a tiny little Mother Earth's masterpiece. So precious and vulnerable and yet so strong, brave and open to life💕. Happy chappy!! Cheaky Boy! Speedy legs. Just a tiny bit naughty 'cos he is so special. Full of confidence. Ready to LIVE LAUGH and LOVE. Little man💓.
you are one of my biggest inspirations for sure. Ever since i was about 4, i have wanted to ride horses. It’s been my dream for so long, and i thought last year that it was finally going to happen. I went on a trail ride, i went in super excited and came out crying. Turns out, i’m allergic to horses. I get hives on my stomach, i can’t take a deep breath without coughing, and my eyes swell shut. That discouraged me for a while, and i was devastated towards the fact that i might never be able to ride again. I beg my mom, and i’m hoping this trainer that we reached out to will respond soon, so that i can start 1 on 1 lessons. Watching you has kept me motivated, and i’ve made sure not to give up on my dream, despite the challenges. Thank you so much for inspiring me to keep going and to never give up!
Over here in SW USA, we'd call his coloring "grulla"--(grew-yah) a black colt with both a dun gene that produces the dun stripes (and boy he does have stripes!!) and dilution gene (or 2 of them) that dilutes the black to that sort of smooth grayish tone. I love the bllack of his tail bordered with white. He's lovely, whatever official color name he carries. One of my rancher friends loves the grullla color best of all.
Another Elphick Event beauty for the fields. He is a cracking good foal, Meg. So hard to stop watching him leap around. Sounds like you have your name choices down, but for what's worth, I would call him "Sassy Man". I like Lightening McQueen too, he is a little firecracker. And that colour!!!
What a cutie!! Don’t grow up to fast little boy, but also do we want to see you being the baddest boy crushing it out on events!! Hope we will see you, Meg eventing all the future prospects! We will be rooting for you! Can’t wait for all the amazing events occurring in the future!
I used to be a stable hand at sales and training barn for mainly freisan cross horses. There was 4 mammas that had babies when i worked there. 2 were fillies, two were colts. All diff ages. Oldest was two months old, youngest 6 days old . Two of the fillies were named willow ( two months old, other was named prim rose). I think she was 2 weeks old at the time . The one colt was named oliver. The other didnt have a name bc she and her mama were for sale. Willow had a mind of her own lol. Prim rose listened really well. She was a sweetheart!
You can see how much you all love your horses and it’s so heart warming. You have a lovely family ❤unfortunately I live in a flat but I’ll add elphick trees and garden to my list of recommended tree surgeons
Congrats Elphicks! Love seeing a vlog with the whole family, such lovely relationships there. Feel free to include them in more if they’d like moving forward!
Such a joy to watch this video!! Such a special foal we need to watch this foal. Hes going places. Theres just something extra about him!! I vote for Darcy!!
This put such a smile on my face! I have raised two foals, and it never gets old! What a blessing a foal is! You are going to have so much fun with all of your babies!
UGH! I am SOOOOOOOOO jealous!!❤ He is sooo adorable!!!!!🤗 I can already see him being a professional showjumping horse! Congrats on everything including Dee Dee who will be having a foal🎉🎉😊
Gorgeous little boy, but holy spunky!!! Good luck with all his breaking/training; I think your hands will be full! Or maybe he matures into the most willing and polite yearling and beyond... ya never know.
I reckon Gilbert the Gangster 😂😂. He has some great moves, turns like a polocrosse horse, jumps like a show jumper. Looking forward to seeing how he grows.
Cutest foal ever! Thanks for sharing the wonderful footage. Call him Toby, it has a B and ends in E sound like his mum, who looks like a wonderful mum BTW!
He is absolutely beautiful, congratulations, looking forward to watching him grow up❤️ mama is beautiful as well, they both looked so incredibly happy to outside playing around together 😊
He’s so adorable and very mischievous, your going to have your hands full, but in a fun way. Briney is such a lovely mommy she is so good with him. Can’t wait to see what you will call him. I love fin or finny , midnight is cool or meadow son. Poor Dee, hope it’s her turn soon bless her. Can’t wait to see what teddy bear has so excited for her baby to come soon. X
It is so funny! Usually, the mare is trotting around or grazing and the new foal is by her side. A quite picture of repose momma and baby. In this case, poor Bryni is chasing HIM around. She's trying her best to keep up with him and keep him in her sights. Bryni has her work cut out for her her keep up with that little boy! I can't wait to see what color he becomes, what happens to those stripes and if the little spitfire remains that way. I think he will! Bold as brass and when he is ready for cross country, look out world.
You should call him tigger as he jumped up and down all the time 😂. Also because it looks like he has striped. He is soo cute ❤. He would have such cute foals if you kept him as a stallion/colt, he could go out with the geldings but it might be to difficult for you guys to keep him as a stallion as you have so many mares.
Meg, how on earth are you going to get any work done? I wouldn't be able to take my eyes off that bundle of cuteness. "Pickle" might be an appropriate stable name - he has such a cheeky character. Poor mum has got her work cut out for her (as do you & Hobbit🤗). Am loving the family collaboration 😅. The stables are looking great. I did get the impression that Dee was looking around asking "where's my foal?" She's going to be a marvellous Mum. Give Bryni a week & she might say to Dee "Please take mine😭".
Nice to see Issac on the channel :-) Definitely should get some plugs in for his business. How about a video or field maintenance, tree ID’s and what is poisonous in a field. Like Sycamore seed pods.
Aw he’s tooo cute! 🥺 Can you to an update video including all your horses just like introducing them and what they’re plans are. So much has changed, long time subscriber here but seems I have missed a lot of updates. Would be helpful for new followers too.
