We've been very busy planting lots of new veggies in our no dig straw bale garden beds on our off grid homestead in Spain. It feels great to be bringing life back to the old abandoned land by planting trees and a vegetable garden, and we can't wait to start to see the fruits of our labour. The straw bale and irrigation combo seems to be working well to combat the drought so far, and things are looking good up on the land.
And in the town house, the microcement bathroom makeover is almost complete. We've installed a shower, fitted a new shower screen, and installed a n extractor fan. It's soooo close to being finished, and we can finally shower in there again!

We're Danny and Kate. In 2015 we moved from the UK to Barcelona, and after 8 years enjoying the busy city and sunny beaches we moved to the mountains to start a new adventure.
