I have been using the target nursing bras since Preston was born & I really like them! Breastfeeding was super painful for me in the beginning but the pain does go away over time! You're doing a great job!

I don’t want to be a mom and still I find amazing how a human can grow another human. It’s just mind blowing how our instincts adjust right away. You guys will do great! Ps: my mom is a psychologist and most of my childhood pre teenager she worked with young moms and I remember her talking about skin to skin and some massage (forgot the name) that you can do for the baby when she is a little bit older.

So sweet! Murphy seems like such a good dog. Really neat about acclimating him with the blankets. And yes, breastfeeding is weird and hard - a little different every time. My first always messed up his latch with his fists. Agh. And nothing on this earth makes you thirstier than breastfeeding. Such a great attitude about the jaundice from Collin. Glad it is resolving quickly and you don't have to go back in. Our third spiked a high fever at about a month old and it was very scary, though ended up being totally fine, just a couple of days of monitoring. You look great postpartum, healthy. I suspect keeping yourself in shape, all that work you put in before pregnancy makes a difference, but some of it is just genetics, how your body handles things. I'm always very slow to "bounce back" which i think is a combination of low fitness and my body likes to keep everything it puts on around the tummy forever. Thanks for being real. I do hope you are taking it easy. So good to have family helping. Don't forget you have a placenta-sized internal wound that needs to heal. Taking it suuuper slow in the first 3 weeks makes a world of difference for the next 3-5 - slower than you want to go in the first month and then you are healed up quicker - my midwife could absolutely tell the difference at the 6wk postpartum check). So happy to have stumbled on your videos recently. What a joyful beautiful family. Congratulations on this chapter.

Having a baby with jaundice is definitely rough, especially when they’re so tiny and fragile. My daughter was born with jaundice too and had to go back 3-4 days in a row to get her foot pricked for blood and boy was I a mess😭 over the course of a few days her levels began to drop! Luckily it’s something that is treatable and once they get what they need from your milk/formula, it basically goes away. Congrats on your beautiful lil angel girl Sutton🤍 She’s truly precious.

Mom tip- pack an extra outfit/change of clothes for yourself and the hubs (poop stains, milk spills, leakage...etc). I always kept black leggings and an oversized cutesy top. Super cute family. Congrats.

My 5 month old sleeps in the bed with me mostly cause since she's started I literally don't move in my sleep and even though she rolls around alot she won't do it at night in the bed but will in her crib 😆 lemme tell you I've tried to keep her in the crib she just hates it

Hey girl love your videos and congratulations! Sutton is so precious. I saw you drinking coffee and as a fellow coffee addict 🤣 I just wanted to let you know caffeine/ cold drinks could affect your baby while breastfeeding. I drank coffee throughtout pregnancy and post partum and while breastfeeding and i noticed my baby was cranky after her morning feeds and she wasnt sleeping well. The doctor said it was most likely the caffeine! Sure enough I stopped and she was totally fine after that! Just wanted to let you know or anyone else 😊😊😊and cold drinks can also cause the baby to be upset. This is just my experience. Good luck to all the new mamas out there!!☺️☺️
