Eastern quolls were once part of the Australian landscape for millions of years. Now they can only be found in Tasmania. WWF-Australia is working in partnership to breed and rewild the eastern quoll and bring them back to mainland Australia.

ABOUT WWF-AUSTRALIA:
WWF has a long and proud history. We've been a leading voice for nature for more than half a century,. As the seventh largest member of the WWF Network, WWF-Australia has a challenging brief. We're striving to conserve biodiversity in Australia and throughout the Oceania region. It's a big task and not one we can tackle alone. But together we can.

Would introducing these quolls help with the feral cat population?

Just get rid of the feral cats so that these guys can increase DRAMATICALLY

Put a fifty dollar bounty on feral cats. That would help !

Why can’t people adopt them as pets and introduce a breeding program to the public... the population of the quoll would get bigger

Josh Garvin wild animals don’t make good pets usually. They belong in nature anyways

@@Gaiwen_Li I gotta have to disagree, it really depends on size because people do well with breeding mice, hamsters even birds! I have a friend to owns two sugar gliders and they're doing healthy, but my friend sold them anyway because they didn't have time to take care of them lol If the animals are small, caring for them becomes easy. What's gonna be hard is if their behavior changes from living indoor for too long. They might not be able to teach their children or even hunt on their own.
