I never thought I'd be impressed by two pieces of metal that hold a chair in place. I've seen Brinkley tours before, yet it seems they added that new bit just last week! All these little innovations are the equivalent of death by a thousand cuts to their competitors.
Great review and tour. Did you notice that Brinkley doesn't use any crown trim or molding at the wall to the ceiling. They don't need to, because the walls and ceiling and cabinets are true and square, no need to cover up imperfections.
Thanks for the tour. We have the Z3100 and love it! We had a few minor issues but Brinkley customer service has been exceptional. There are no perfect rvs but Brinkley comes pretty close 😊
Thanks for the tour and interview. Looks like they are doing the right things and building a good RV. I just wonder if they keep it up and avoid going the route of others who started out doing the right things, building good RV’s, then letting quality and customer service slip.
Wow nice rv.. only thing I would want is a bathtub. I'm still waiting for an rv dealer to put one in a 5th wheel. My cat likes the bunk room in ours. Good place for his liter box. Lol... thanks for sharing
Problem is weight. A standard bathtub holds about 50 gallons of water at 8.345# per gallon. That's about 417 lbs. An easy 450 # including the tub itself. And you probably have to beef up the frame to carry it. And have a water heater with a high capacity. All in all, 500# off your payload and you can only use it where there's a city water supply. And someplace to drain it before you can move. Not impossible, but a huge committment.
The water tanks why are they different colors -- one white the others are a off black !! Does this help keep the water from freezing in low temperatures ?? Are the water tubing designed to last -- how long ??
Looking at the Lippert frame as the guy bragged about the engineering I saw many incomplete welds and areas with only a tack weld holding the outriggers and cross frames. Potential flex and failure points. Brinkley looks like a quality build above the frame though!
Brinkley really makes a well made Fifth Wheel, but I absolutely dislike their new table setup. I wished that they would give us an option for the original table set up.
@@tishb62 We loved the original dinette and dislike the new one and the need to put in “travel mode”. We contacted Brinkley and were told we could order it with the original set up which we have done along with dual pane windows and queen bed that has night stands 3100Z
WAY overpriced for a mid pro camper. Furrion is the absolute cheapest chinese junk there is made and this thing is just filled with it. At a full profile price. Some things are pretty cool and some would be a hard pass pass for me, especially at that high price point. Cool video though, thanks
I have a ton of Furrion in my 2019. Rig. Thankfully nothing has broken even under heavy use. Circuit board on Dometic WH failed and replaced it with a Dinosaur brand unit - all fixed. I do wish the front cap was full height like the G. They put all GE IN THE G’s. Lots of the Zs out there under heavy use and Furrion products do not seem to be issue.
