If you think it's unaffordable now, imagine if you sell. You would never be able to afford living there after its developed.

Lol 1 million per person means that they go buy a condo for 200k and call it a day.

There is no way for that little bit of money that the owners are likely to find the exact same quality of life. They deal should be. 5 million at least per share holder. The developer pays for all. All of the associated costs that would usually be the burden of the sellers. There is already a new monstrosity of an eyesore built to the south. That area is over developed already. Those are some nice people. They need to understand that finding similar will be almost impossible.

These people are “home”. To be forced to move would be terrible.

@Joe Langel unacceptable. Maybe they could get together and buy the property, as a community. Hire a great lawyer. Fingers crossed for them.

@@orcitychick They already did that. It is already a co-op. They already own the property. This new developer wants to buy them all out

@@pianodon oh I see. That’s a tough one. Many of them can probably be persuaded by the financial benefits, this could turn into a neighborhood war. But hopefully they begin to realize that they would need to find another home to move into. That’s not always easy.

These builders need to buy out the boynton mall area that just sits there for no reason and takes up an over indulgent amount of land that could be developed into homes among other possibilities...

No doubt, if the developers want it they will get it. they will get the lovely governor to claim some sort of eminent domain.

I bet Trump has straw buyers trying to buy this property. He probably want to develop homes for his type of people.. Very sad the poor always get kicked out.
