OMG! I have been looking for someone to teach me how to knit shawls. I know how to knit but, I’ve never knitted a shawl. I’ve crocheted shawls. I honestly feel it’s takes to long to knit, whereas crocheting it takes less time. I would love to knit a shawl from start to finish and not get bored. I’m excited that I across your channel. You seem to be the right person to
To follow for knitting projects. I’m excited to start one with you. Thank you so much for sharing your enthusiasm and knowledge about knitting. I love the shawls you have displayed. They are beautiful. Looking forward to starting my first shawl!
Forget the yarn, YOU are luscious! Your cheer and joy is infectious. One tiny comment “melted baby” kept tripping me up - and out. I think I will get over it as soon as I’ve ordered a shawl kit. Thank you 🙏🏼 for everything.
Love your videos and sooo envious of your vision and talent......I do agree with Brioche, that yellow shawl is certainly my fave🤩😍 Lucky pups to be loved by you.
So fun and informative spending time with you and the fur babies. Thank you for all the inspiration you share and showing how to achieve something stunning to wear. Take care
Your designs are amazing! Thank you. I met you once in chicago at a yarn shop, I think you had just written your first or second book. I loved my book because it had hats, gloves, and all kinds of things. You are one of my favorite knitters. Thank you, again.
I just could not manage brioche stitch until I watched your tutorial online, about a year ago. Now I fear no brioche! Thank you for helping me overcome my mental hurdle, and for giving me another technique to work with!
Steven, I'm still trying to perfect my Brioche stitch, so it's coming. Each of your Brioche Suri shawls is "High Fashion" and should be seen on the runway during "Fashion Week" for fall. The larger sizes will make a "huge hit" styled over a suit or dress made in a somber solid cashmere. They bring the "Drama" that everyone wants in their fashion. I can see a "Fashion magazine" spread of them on models carrying "Big" purses by the best designers. Super elegant! Remember, really tall models need the bigger size. You do great photos. So I suggest you get an agent to pitch the shawls as accessories for their show. Can you get the vision?
Your frenchies are so sweet, they love your knits too! It appears you have lost some weight too! The large rectangle, do you think it could be pared down make the width thinner and then longer. I am a large person! Plus it is the easier one right? Thanks you do such lovely work!
