Hotels generally allow packages to be delivered but best to check with your specific hotel upon arrival if you are bringing in a huge item (also in case if it requires power) to be sure. 😊

before guiding to quarantine, do you have spare time in Brisbane airport so that you can buy a sim card or eat something there?

Hi! You will have spare time but only to wait for the bus to bring you to the hotel. You can't go to shops as that will expose vendors to people that are supposed to be in quarantine. You can use wifi at the airport while waiting and ask hotel reception for assistance in getting a sim card 😊

where can you buy an australian sim once you arrive in brisbane airport?

Hi Rubie! Sorry it toom me a while! You can't shop while in the airport so I suggest this is best coordinated with your hotel upon checking in. The wifi in the airport is reliable and should help you communicate with loved ones before you board the bus to hotel. 😊

Regarding the hotel checkin , did it take very long? I heard from some people waited for 5,6 hours in the bus to be called.

Hi Alan! Thanks for watching! I don’t think it should take that long, maybe 3 hours tops… They didn’t start calling til about half an hour and when they started calling names it was pretty smooth from there. But it might vary from hotel to hotel! 😬

I'm going to be quarantine too soon with my 1 year old . I'm abit nervous I wonder what it will be like with an infant if they go outside or have fresh air.

I hope you get to a hotel with balcony! In Rydges at South Bank, I heard there are rooms overlooking the river and has a balcony. For my experience, the rooms were allocated randomly but upon arriving at the hotel, it might be good if you can ask if they can give you one that is infant-friendly ☺️ Good luck and stay safe! ❤️

Did you book your flight prior to applying for the exemption? Planning to travel with my 1 year old around august or september. Thanks

Hi! No, I didn't book any flights yet as it would be too risky. Aus government also does not encourage it. I suggest hold booking flights as it would not have an impact on your application but if you are eyeing a particular date and flight can be rebooked, feel free to do so. 😊

When and where did you get your Swab test prior to flight?

@@hclairelatoza3268 Hi! I had mine done at the Lord's Grace clinic at Macapagal. It should be done no earlier than 72 hours from your departure. This is on my vlog to-do list! Please stay tuned. ☺️
