The Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary can be reached very well with Mirimar Cruises from Brisbane Downtown on the Brisbane River right up to the park. You can see up to 130 Koalas, also hold yourself and take pictures with them. A photo wall shows that many VIPs of this world have not missed it. Another attraction is the large kangaroo enclosure in the open air, which you can enter and feed the animals in peace. In the park about 100 species of Australian animals are integrated. Do not miss the Bird of Prey Free Flight Show and the Sheepdog Show, which provides interesting insights into the Australian Outback. Lone Pine has won an award and is one of the ten best ZOO's in the world!

Hello from Japan. That’s the place where I visited in 2004 and did animal keep volunteering for a week, unforgettble experience. I saw many Koala babies, beautiful colored birds, and cassowaries which attacked me several times. ;-)

Thanks for making this video. I was there in 1999. Unforgettable experience. My best wishes to all animals and staff there. Fire and flood ing endanger wildlife animals. Every time when I hear such kind of news, I hope they all are safe.
