I'm heading on an England & Wales road trip! We're going to be hitting up Dorset, Cornwall, Bristol, Cardiff, Pembrokshire, Snowdonia and the Peak District over the next week and I'm going to be daily vlogging everyday! In this episode we visited Bristol, staying at YHA Bristol.

Glad you enjoyed Bristol. I came here as a student in 1993 .... and I'm still here! That happens a lot. Jeez, you just scratched a little corner of the city - so much more to see. Hope you come back for another stay cos it is just awesome.

I dragged myself down from Manchester in 1987 to take a job in Bristol and I'm still here, still enjoying it, and still finding new places to visit. Whatever you want, you can find it somewhere in town.

it was interesting to see someone else's perspective on my city- I definitely take advantage of it! haven't been up to the bridge for years, will pay a visit soon! I didn't realise that so many hipsters was unusual haha

I hate living in cities, but i ended up in Bristol 10 years ago and have absolutely fallen in love with the place. Best city in England! Enjoy :D

Came from Hannah's channel and your next video was in my city! I walk around the harbour every weekday morning :) Love the view from Observatory Hill - did you try standing still on the suspension bridge, you can feel it moving underneath you :)

Aww thank you! It's definitely my favourite place to be at the moment! If you're ever in Bristol again and want to hang out by the bridge there's a great pub near by called the White Lion which has a massive terrace that gives you a great view.....and they do great pizza which is an added bonus! Enjoy the rest of your west country adventure :)

Born and raised south Bristolian here and I love seeing my home through the eyes of tourists. It reminds me how lucky I am to own my house in BS4. Bristol is too often overlòoked when it is really a gem, with urban edge butting up against rural beauty.

Bristol looks very nice and you are very entertaining as always! Also according to wikipedia Bristol was the first modern bungee jump, but the first permanent commercial bungee site is the Kawarau Bridge Bungy, which i thought you did on your Queenstown tour...

I totally understand not wanting to be in the car when someone's learning manual! That is... awkward driving at best. And yeah, that suspension bridge would be so fun (and scary!) to cross!

Always interesting to see 'outsiders; take on my home town. Just two very minor corrections. The river you pointed at was The River Frome, a tributary of the Avon, and the main river is justed called The Avon, NOT River Avon. Avon means river in old English and Welsh so calling the Avon River Avon your really calling it River-River. But glad you liked my city. come back soon.

This was weird to watch, Bristols like 30 mins from my house.. You should have gone to Glastonbury on your way from Exmoor it's this cute little very hippy town with some lovely shops and old things (in Somerset). Nice vlog.

Kellie Walton I hope to visit Newcastle at some point this year. Not on the this road trip unfortunately. I get all my music from Epidemic Sound. 1st vlog was a song called 'wolf at your door'. 2nd was 'hello ramona' and this one 'you set my world on fire' 😊❤️

hi I live about an hour away from Snowdonia national park, theres a zip lining place there and also Europes first artificial wave making place for surfing. Depending on your route, you could head to Chester which I would definitely recommend! it has an old roman ampitheatre, the whole place is built on an old roman city and above it are Tudor buildings that are now our modern day shops, its beautiful! I live right by a place called "st winefrides well" where the legend goes that a woman had her head chopped off, it rolled down a hill where a spring was and magically when her head was placed back on her shoulders again she was healed and since then this magical spring has been healing people for years. There is so much to do in this are for more info you can contact me :)

You've never seen the two medieval towers XII century of my city Bologna. One of them high 100 meters. The name of my city origins from the celtic tribe Boi in wich that romans named "Gallia Citerior" that's worth while "Gallia Nearest or Closer".

I stayed in the same hostel last year! Went there with my class for our English Exam program. Such a nice city! Nice going out scene. When in Bristol you should def eat at the All You Can Eat Restaurant 'Za Za Bazaar' straight across that hostel. Best all you can eat ever!
