Brought back childhood memories of OHY 984 that ended its days with Silcox Motor services in West Wales - I believe the first of the 2 KSW's Silcox owned (HAP 985) is in preservation somewhere.
Was looking at 48151, having seen it leave Salisbury from my seat in the train (dep delayed by brakes sticking). Great climb of Parkstone earlier with 13 on. Don't normally look at buses! But when I was age 8, in 1954, did the entire Bath to Salisbury via Devizes bus ride unaccompanied, front seat upstairs, to go to my grandparents past Salisbury. Great aunt checked on progress at Devizes.
@tedgoater I spent a lot of time in Bristol in the early sixties, hence I have a soft spot for a Bristol KSW or Lodecker. The 8F sounded fine climbing towards Milborne Port.
