On October 12,2022 a coward decided to make a false 911 call for help and 3 officers answered his call. This bully felt the need to hide like a scared rat in the dark bushes to shoot them in the back. These brave men stood tall, front and center. They had no need to hide. They know what they stand for. They are made of the fibers of courage, bravery and heroism. True men. They go out each day trying to maintain lawfulness and community safety. It’s unfortunate that this coward was lurking in the dark that night. The world has lost 2 honorable heroes and has left a hole in many hearts. Lieutenant Dustin DeMonte and Sergeant Alex Hamzy we will miss you deeply and thank you for your service.
