Anti-missionaries challenge Yeshua as our current head and high priest. There is nothing new under the sun. We find that in the time of Moses those of Korah also challenged the head of Israel and high priest. The consequences were not pretty at all. Learn what the type of Korah has to do with today.

Today, we do not have Korah as a person to claim his right, but we have 30,000 denominations with 30,000 pastors who sit in the mortgaged churches every week preaching their RU-vid searched topics, 30,00 different sermons with 30,000 points of view. All have fallen short of the Word. Not much has changed since the days of Korah ;O

can you imagine witnessing that event. YAH changes not, He is the same yesterday, today, and Tomorrow. We must be Set Apart, a peculiar people, forsaking all, following Yahuah's will, like His Son did. Rev. 19:10 says the testimony of Yahushua is The Spirit of Prophecy. I pray all would desire to have the gift to prophecy. Old Testament has the keys to pleasing The Father, obedience is better than sacrifice.

Excellent teaching! Thank you for the encouragement to stay true to Yashua. I never saw the connection between the anti missionaries and the sons of Korah!

scripture also says we are not to be quick to lay hands on anyone because we share in their sins

Semi off topic but I believe the reason that Korah rises against moses' authority is because of the command for tzitzit which happens immediately before the story of Korah. ( Torah never had chapter breaks or scripture numbering so no break between numbers 15 and 16) and moses also says "by this you know that YHWH has sent me to do all these works, THAT THEY ARE NOT FROM MY OWN HEART" numbers 16:28 that last part suggests to me that Korah thought moses was making up the part about tzitzits! If just for me. I do not want to be a part of korah's rebellion! Blessings of YHWH and His Son Yeshua the messiah be upon you and your ministry.

I was also going to mention the tzitzitot. The thing with the tzitzitot was that everyone was now set apart with them (they were made of wool and linen that only priests were normally allowed to wear together). So as soon as they had their tzitzitot on, the rebellion kicked off. So I do absolutely think we need to carefully consider this context with regards to Korach and his rebellion and what does it mean practically for us today.

According to Jewish Encyclopaedia the cause of Korah’s Revolt The chief cause of Korah's revolt was, according to the Rabbis, the nomination of Elizaphan, son of Uzziel, as prince over the Kohathites (Num. iii. 30), Korah arguing thus: "Kohath had four sons [Ex. vi. 18]. The two sons of Amram, Kohath's eldest son, took for themselves the kingdom and the priesthood. Now, as I am the son of Kohath's second son, I ought to be made prince over the Kohathites, whereas Moses gave that office to Elizaphan, the son of Kohath's youngest son" (Num. R. xviii. 1; Tan., Ḳoraḥ, 3). Korah plied Moses with the following questions: "Does a ṭallit made entirely of blue wool need fringes?" To Moses' affirmative answer Korah objected: "The blue color of the ṭallit does not make it ritually correct, yet according to thy statement four blue threads do so" (Num. xv. 38). "Does a house filled with the books of the Law need a mezuzah?" Moses replied that it did; whereupon Korah said: "The presence of the whole Torah, which contains 175 chapters, does not make a house fit for habitation, yet thou sayest that one chapter thereof does so. It is not from God that thou hast received these commandments; thou hast inventedthem thyself." He then assembled 250 men, chiefs of the Sanhedrin, and, having clad them in ṭallitot of blue wool, but without fringes, prepared for them a banquet. Aaron's sons came for the priestly share, but Korah and his people refused to give the prescribed portions to them, saying that it was not God but Moses who commanded those things. Moses, having been informed of these proceedings, went to the house of Korah to effect a reconciliation, but the latter and his 250 followers rose up against him (Num. R. xviii. 2; Tan. l.c.; comp. Targ. pseudo-Jonathan to Num. xvi. 2). Korah consulted his wife also, who encouraged him in the revolt, saying: "See what Moses has done. He has proclaimed himself king; he has made his brother high priest, and his brother's sons priests; still more, he has made thee shave all thy hair [comp. Num. viii. 7] in order to disfigure thee." Korah answered: "But he has done the same to his own sons." His wife replied: "Moses hated thee so much that he was ready to do evil to his own children provided the same evil would overtake thee" (Midr. Agadah to Num. xvi. 8; Yalḳ., Num. 750; comp. Num. R. l.c.; Tan. l.c.; Sanh. 110a).

Here's a question I have: how do we know if a man is chosen by YHWH to lead a congregation? What are the signs?
@V1sionario

wesley ogilvie Shalom brother! May ABBA Father bless you and guide you always. I will would say if he honors Torah then despite of how he may seem he would be walking in obedience and that’s what ABBA Father is looking for. Not for ministers that have huge congregations and are leading people to rebellion against His Devine instruction. Obedience is better than sacrifice and false worship.

wesley ogilvie Our experience with churches has been- One that claimed to keep Torah but had women teaching - left One that followed all of Torah stickily, so We learned fast all the feast and precepts, was great, but the leader let power go to his head and it became a cult. Anyone who wanted to attend had to be vetted first. And finally called himself a new apostle - Ran away Tried going to Sunday church but he never opened a Bible and it was all about growth and reaching out according to social justice rules . If they are doing more preaching their thoughts rather than reading the Word - Beware If its a closed congregation or just the opposite that allows blatant sinners a safe place to be coddled and given the pat on the back - then leave. It is written that in the last days, God looks down and doesn't find any Shepard's feeding the flock, he says then that he alone Shepard's them. Possibly he is doing this through His Spirit on a one on one. We stick to proven truth teachers like 119 Ministries, Tom Bradford at Seed of Abraham, online Torah Teachings, And Bill Cloud at Jacobs Tent. You can join their online Sabbath Service via utube. These 3 and daily personal Bible study will give you all the Meat you can Eat. Blessings and Shalom PS Also if they teach/preach very often from words of the Rabbis (Talmud or other Jewish Books of mans words). Past famous Rabbis must have been wise but they add to the word. This is dangerous and the original word is what will speak truth to you. Trust in that and not in man.

Just for clarification: anyone who believes in Jesus, but has family/friends who don't believe in Jesus should disassociate themselves from said family/friends?

Definetly cannot be both. He is not God. He prayed to God and called him Father and he called us brothers. Please study Tenakh well and see for yourself that the NT is not according Tenakh. Do not let anyone fool you. Gain knowledge and see that there is no other savour than the God of Tenakh. Study Ezek18 and see how do we walk righteously and the method of return if we made mistakes... There is no promised Messiah that will die for our sins in Tenakh. It is life for us if we walk in righteousness. The laws of God in Tenakh is our measuring Stick. They are vital to see what is true and what not. Paul tried to remove the laws of God because then anything is going... No measuring rod... No knowledge... No life

Matthew 3 16 Yeshua, when he was immersed, went up directly from the water: and behold, the heavens were opened to him. He saw the Spirit of God descending as a dove, and coming on him. Matthew 3 17 Behold, a voice out of the heavens said, "This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased." That's when he realized he was the son of YHWH and it was confirmed by everyone there
@mxgangrel
@mxgangrel 2 года назад
@@whidoineedthis he said he was the son when he was much younger. Remember when he wasn't with his parents leaving the city and he was later found at the temple? He said, didn't you know I'd be in my father's house.

Korach rebelled against the Levitical Priesthood. This is the same that NT did with Jesus not even a Levite. Now Jesus try to replace the Levitical Priesthood as Higpriest and even want the Kingship of David with a non- working toldot in Math 1 and Luk 3. So Who is Korag here? The NT teachings want to replace David, the Lam, the High Priest, The Temple, Yisrael, the Shepard ect. with only One Person, named Jesus!!! The Tenakh is NOT tipe and shadows..... It is the Real thing. Tenakh is the ONLY TRUTH, THE ONLY MEASURING ROD. Paul wanted to take the law of God away so that we will have no measuring rod. Jesus cannot be a Higpriest (from the Levites) And a King (from Yehuda). This is Clear from Tenakh. Learn and study God's rules before jumping around in chaos
