This list without Papa Doc Duvalier is weird. He died in 1971 and his policies have lead to Haiti still being impoverished to this very day. Idi Amin is also a big one.
@@realJoshiBOI Yeah he only tried to by trying to overthrow the government... By far the worst president in US history. He basically mirrors Hitlers behavior.
That North Korea was "wealthier" than South Korea in the 1960s is true, but the northern part of Korea had always been the wealthier half. Northern Korea is historically where the seat of Korea's government was located and held what little industry that Korea was able to maintain. Southern Korea was the country's rice paddy. When World War II ended and Korea was divided into north and south, North Korea was even more wealthier than South Korea than it was in the 1960s. The economic history of the two countries is simply one of South Korea growing faster than North Korea for virtually every year the two countries have been in existence. And South Korea probably would have passed North Korea earlier had it not been for the very large subsidies that the Soviets gave to North Korea in the 1960s. After China and the Soviet Union fell out over de-Stalinization, Soviet leaders basically bribed Kim Il Sung to keep North Korea in the Soviet tent.
@@ballizlife914 Mojo repeats State Dept. propaganda which is *virulently anti-communist.* Hugo Chavez was a left-of-center politician, a capitalist, who provided limited social programs to the millions in his country who lived in unimaginable poverty. The US hated Chavez for giving crumbs to his poorest citizens. They consider Venezuela's oil wealth their oil wealth.
There is a saying that goes "people get the leader they deserve". In my opinion that simply isn't true, because in many cases there is no democracy involved.
Hi Kabir, I'm surprised Idi Amin, Gahdafi and Papa and Baby Doc Duvalier didn't make the list. Also Kim Jong Un, who not only continued his father's savage regime, but actually magnified some of it's worst features.
Lenin helped usher in the first and only workers' government in human history, which brought WW1 to an end. He died shortly thereafter. Lenin is not responsible for Stalin betraying the Revolution or any of his crimes.
Kabir, in some cases it is racism. In others it is greed or corruption. In yet others the megalomania or narcissistic tendencies combined with racist, classium and fascist tendencies (not naming any names specifically but it begins with T) are contributing factors.
9:20 Weird how they omit that the Untd States gave Saddam those chemical weapons? You can find the picture, using your favorite search engine, of Donald Rumsfeld shaking SHussein's hand after the deal was finalized.
Republicans spend money the country doesn't have. Democrats try to pay the debt. They end up vilified for it, because the average person has no idea how economy works. We're always in a better financial place after 8 years of Democrat policy. We're always in a shambles after 8 years of Republican policy (although Trump managed the same amount of damage in four).
typical response Trump fanboys have. Instead of asking someone why they feel that way, have a conversation and gain an understanding. Its always "move" or whatever. Anyone who simply says "get out" when anothers opinions doesn't align with their own is weak as F dude and has the mental fortitude of an adolescent in puberty.
@@d0ublestr0ker0ll Trump killed 1 million Americans by saying Covid wasnt real. He tried to overthrow the government, but failed. He canceled school food for kids.
@@i7887 > "Trump killed 1 million Americans by saying Covid wasnt real." If you were one of those people who didn't think covid was real, that's just natural selection. Additionally, that's assuming every single American who died from covid died because of Trump's words > "He tried to overthrow the government, but failed." Keyword: failed. Everyone on this list had absolute power or control over their country at some point > "He canceled school food for kids." ?? Can you elaborate on this? I still received the same amount of school food I always did
