Rip to all the people who think Everest is in China and Buddha was born in India. And now all the provinces have got name. 1- Koshi 2- Madhesh 3- Bagmati 4- Gandaki 5- Lumbini 6- Karnali 7- Sudurpaschim.
Sorry bro. Everest lies in Nepal and China. Nepalese corrupt politicians basically made an agreement with Chinese that Mt Everest lies in between China and Nepal. Everest can be climbed from China side too.
Everest is a natural border between Tibet and Nepal just like K2, which is a natural border between Pakistan and China. We think it is in Nepal because we have always been taught so. Same with the Tibetans. They have always been taught that it is in Tibet. Learned that from a Tibetan friend. Even before Everest had Nepali or English name, it had a Tibetan name. Wish both Nepalis and Tibetans/Chinese were taught that Everest has always been a natural border between Tibet and China.
Gorkha is one of the 77 districts in Nepal. It was a small Kingdom of King Prithivi Narayan Shah, the guy who unified Nepal. So basically Gorkha expanded, grew in sizeand became Nepal. As people from Nepal are called Nepali, people from Gorkha are called Gorkhali which somehow the Brits started calling Gurkha maybe because Gorkhali is difficult for them to pronounce. So all Nepalese call themselves Gorkhali because it’s the origin of the country.
Gorkha is a place and Gurkha is the name given to the Nepalese army regiment in Indian army and UK Army. Edited: India was still under British rule when Nepalese were recruited as a Gurkha laure in “Lahore”Pakistan so the name laure (soldier) came in..and Britisher called Nepalese fighters Gurkhas because at the first Anglo war Nepalese king was from Gorkha hence they called the fighter gorkhas instead of Nepalese.. P.s India still has Gurkha regiment because, when the British left India, Gurkha regiment were divided and left behind to protect the New Democratic country.. so, there r still Gurkha regiment in Indian army, British army even in Singapore police and Brunei army. (It’s a very long and interesting history, if made into a series, best war movies till date would be in shame😅)
Holy shit!! Thanks fam Probably the most hospitable and cheap tourist destination in South Asia. The valleys, mountains, waterfalls will not disappoint. Our flag is probably the most distinguish-able in the world with triangular shapes representing no influence from any imperialism or colonialism. Britain did try to conquer us but couldn't due to the sheer bravery and boldness that's why even to this day, British army allocates about 100 seats every year for special Nepalese soldiers you may or may not have heard about called "Gurkhas". Most of em are royal guards Also, Buddha was born in Nepal but it's still a disputed and sensitive topic we have on going with India but I got nothing but love for my neighbours Love from Nepal brother
well the 2nd water resource might be a lie only. Check different sources in the internet. Tho the education system of Nepal did teach us that, but that was false.
Kumari is selected among the buddist family among the newar community . And the girl is selected by the wife of head priestess and she is worshipped as a hindu god and worshipped by both hindu and buddist. Even kings and Pm came to get blessed by her
Why mithila or madhes is not mentioned in this video even though 53% of total population is madheshi or the birth place of Mata Sita ? 😢😢 Sad to see we are not recognized by Nepalese and international
I'd say not 53 but significant portion is madhesh. Forget the banter and bickering, but all Nepalese is Nepalese, people just joke about madheshi being from India, don't let it to you. And I'm saying this as a fellow Terai resident, but newar.
I am from India . I visited Nepal . It was very beautiful country to visit especially you are fan of mountain climbing and Snows. Good food well very similar like us. 🇮🇳❤️🇳🇵
The true potential of Nepal is not realized yet. If only we had a good government, this country would have been a better country by a lot. I mean literally a lot than what it is today. Just compare this country with any other countries, and see how geographically gifted this country is. While people in other countries are using technologies to cater the deficiency that geography failed to provide them, here in Nepal we are not being able to utilize such a greater gift from geography. I truly feel blessed to have been born as Nepali, but the way today's government has corrupted this country and destroyed it's beauty just makes me feel really sad.
I am always proud to be the citizen of the nation. Sherpas and Gorkhas are the true hero of the country. We are lack with connections due to close border but anyhow we are gifted by nature and people here are always great and hardworking I hope you will probably visit nepal Once in your lifetime and I can assure that it will be your Lifetime experience ♥
Actually the first community or caste to be recruited as gorkha army were magars later on gurung, rai, limbu and chettri also started to join gorkha army❤
Well first u should know that . There was no country called India before British colony after British captured they named India and India was United at that time and India was formed. But Nepal 🇳🇵 was established before India, we have our flag, name ,King, soldiers and anthem, Therfore if u are smart then u have to know this Bitter but truth
@@moktan289 Bhai Bharat was used to refer to the entire land mass of what is now India. Before the British the Bharat was a set of many different kingdoms.
As a country,,. Nepal is much older than India.. Buddha was born in kapilwastu kingdom which is now in Nepal 🇳🇵 so we Nepalese can say that Buddha was born in Nepal..but there is no logic of Indian who claims Buddha was from India.. Buddha got enlightenment in India but that doesn't mean Buddha was from India.. I mean if you go Korea for study and after completing your graduation. you won't became Korean😂😂 .. this is the simple thing that Indians can't understand 😂😂
The word gorkha comes from Go Raksha (cow saver) and later became gorkha. The people who faught with the slogan "Jaya mahakali, ayo gorkhali" now turned against the same slogan. The cow saver are now becoming cow butcher.
I really enjoyed the vedio explaining about my country by the famous youtubers which will surely helps in tourist attraction and let know the world The actual birth place of Lord Buddha is in Nepal lumbini.Where india has many times try lieing the world that buddha was born in india and now they have i think completed building the copyright lumbini kapilbastu etc.i Love social media which has now made the world know is other more and made the world like one family ...
Seriously bro you didn’t know Gurkhas are Nepalese even Hitler was afraid of Gurkhas and Britain also tries to colonized Nepal after India but Nepalese fought really hard that’s why Nepal was never colonized
I dont know how the video maker got an impression that there's a debate regarding the birthplace of The Buddha. There's absolutely no debate. It's in Lumbini, Nepal. No Indian or Nepali has any daobt about this fact. However, following The Buddhas knowledge is more important than knowing his birthplace. He could have been born just anywhere on earth.
this video has all the information about nepal. Everything you need. Actually it's shocking that this much of information was included in this video. wow.
I am Nepali and studying in British school (one time when the teacher and my friends said that Buddha was born in India) I was literally so shocked. (Like Uhm excuse me what are u guys talkin)!.
He hadn't mentioned some famous person in Nepal Dr. Sanduk Ruit (Ophthalmologist) who has restored the sight of the people over 180,000 people across Africa and Asia using small-incision cataract surgery. Mahabir Pun Magar (Teacher) Mahabir Pun is a Nepali researcher, teacher, social entrepreneur and an activist known for his work in applying wireless technologies to develop remote areas of the Himalayas, also known as the Nepal Wireless Networking Project. He is a widely known figure in Nepal, and his work has been recognized by the Ashoka Foundation, the Ramon Magsaysay Foundation, University of Nebraska, and Global Ideas Bank. #Love from Nepal🇳🇵❤
* Kumari, The living goddess, is chosen one! ** Gurkhas consist of multiple ethnic groups including but not limited to Gurung, Magar, Rai, Limbu, Tamang etc.
This video is a bit outdated so there are some changes not mentioned here. Like now, all 7 provinces have names, and a bit more land uptop is now a part of Nepal
Bro plz Gurung’s are not the only Gurkhas. You didn’t mention the Magars, and The Rail and the Limbus. And magar as u see is the total 7% of the population u didn’t mention anything abt therm.
Father of buddha was a king and his kingdom was in Nepal & India border, tho his palace was is India but buddha was born in a garden which was in Nepal but buddha did achieved his knowledge and nirvana in India
