The US is a puppet state to every country in the world that has figured out that they only have to pay pennies on the dollar against their defense budget if they can convince the US to attack their enemies for them. The US is always up for it because those defense contractors always need a fresh conflict to maintain profits.

Some of us can get a head shot to an animal whose head is much smaller than a human from 250 yards with a .308 or 30-06 without a scope. Sometimes even if the deer is skittish and senses our presence. BTW to the first person who responded to the original comment: I'm a Texan. I'm a hunter. I can make that shot at least 75% of the time. I was never in the military. Never underestimate the power for home protection of Armed Americans who know how to shoot. If we were ever to be invaded, we would be a much more formidable force than any other nation on Earth. A person who has a handgun they've fired 50 times at an indoor range can be taught how to use that weapon by others who are experts if it is ever necessary. The fact that they will already have the weapon and some ammo is important. With the exception of Switzerland, the USA has the highest per capita ownership of firearms in every category in the world.

Hearing some of the Axis soldier’s accounts of when they understood that they were doomed to fall in WWII a lot of them were related to hearing how the American soldiers were able to bring in certain foods that were a luxury. Such as when German soldiers captured an American and took his possessions to find out he got a fresh baked cake that was sent from home in their hands, or the Japanese hearing the US Navy had ice cream dispensers on their ships. Ready and willing to go off and defend our country like our ancestors did. Americans have been fighting for their freedom and the freedom of others since its inception. My family ancestors were in America since before it was America. They came from England, Whales,Ireland ,France and Germany. They fought in the Revolutionary War, the Civil War and all the others. I can only say that American people have a Spirit that is bred into them since birth. Whether in military or militia they are ready to defend their freedom and protect their country. Honestly, the US hasn't fought to truly win in a long time. We'd ask if they were done fighting, send them off to lick their wounds, then give out a huge chunk of our wealth for everyone to rebuild. We'd probably follow by requiring everyone to forfeit having militaries and put 1 or 2 significant US bases in each country of any importance. Meanwhile, we'd let them retain independence so long as they went along with our most important requests, but over time, we'd ignore military buildups, assuming that the other countries are all cowed. Eventually dealing with insurgents in many countries. But considering the scope of the conflict, we might feel pushed to demand total control over everything or all but the most amenable nations.

It'd be 'control' in the sense of occupy. Their military is small, but both extremely well trained and capable. Unless said military was mostly on board with it, their guerilla campaign would be extremely unpleasant. The population's mood would be a huge factor in how smoothly that went. I think at the moment, if people think 'this is better than Trudeau' as well could be the case? It would be over pretty fast, provided the USA didn't do anything particularly stupid in terms of occupying Canada.

2 key points to remember. In war the US doesn’t run at full capacity. Things like the Geneva Convention acts as a leash that heavily restricts what the US does. US vs the rest of the world, that leash is removed. 2nd….. the American public using the 2nd Amendment to own firearms is the only other leash that keeps the US government from doing whatever it wants with the military. Also remember that all this is based off what the US lets the world know about for what the military has, not what they have but don’t tell anyone. Additionally I can promise the DOD has thought about this and have a plan in place to gain an advantage as fast as possible.

Households that have guns typically have a few of each kind, a shotgun for close range home defense, mom and/or dad might have one or two every-day-carry pistols each, perhaps also a target pistol for sporting fun, a hunting rifle or two, and maybe one or more "AR-15 style" semi-auto rifles. If you visited a friend in America and they had firearms, I suspect they'd likely have more than one, and maybe up to 3 per person. All those firearms require ammo too, so it's not uncommon for a home to have a few ammo cans with hundreds or thousands of rounds of ammunition. Good luck to any force attempting a land invasion.

One thing they failed to mention in the video is the type of carriers of the US has compared to the rest of the world. The US has catapult launchers on every super carrier. France has similar type of carrier with the Charles de Gaulle but it's less than half the size of the US carriers. What this means is our aircraft can take off with quite a bit more weapons and fuel than other aircraft from standard carriers with ski jumps to assist take off. China built one that is supposed to have catapults but I don't think they have them working yet. The difference between a US Nimitz or Ford class carrier to anything else, even the UK's 2 new carriers, is night and day.

One thing they didn't mention regarding the southern east coast is that we have a natural protection from other ships landing on the main land. We have intercoastal waters. Meaning there is the mainland USA, a stretch of water, then a stretch of land, then the ocean. So there are limited areas for for smaller ships to enter through, and even smaller areas where military ships can come through. Those would be protected if enemy countries tried to land here. They may hit the first strip of land but they wouldn't make it to the mainland without heavy fire.

Something the video didn't take into consideration is the might of the US special forces, like the Navy Seals, Army Rangers, and the Green Berets. Special forces could be dispatched to multiple countries at once and swiftly eliminate heads of state, military leaders, and destroy key targets within a matter of hours, bringing the total number of opposing factions to a minimal number with limited losses. I could see the losses to the "Major Threats" list wiping at minimum a dozen countries out of the fight within the first few days of the conflict. Canada and likely Mexico would cease to exist as countries by the end of the first week with minimal civilian casualties. With the 2 land borders secure, major threats stalled or eliminated completely, The US would bring it's might down on key locations to secure beachheads or at least springboards for future attacks. Taiwan, Japan, Tasmania, Madagascar, The UK, and Somewhere in the Middle East (likely Saudi Arabia) would swiftly come under US military control and forces could be pushed off from there to China, Australia, Mainland Europe, Korea, Southern Africa, and forces from Mexico could shift south through Central America to South America. By the end of the 6th month of the war likely a 3rd of all global powers would be eliminated and/or absorbed by the US, key resources in Africa, the Middle East, Asia, and South America would be under US control, and the remainder of Political and Military leaders would be hard pressed to keep the conglomeration of independent countries together. The cost in Human life would likely be over a billion and US casualties would likely be in the 10s of millions. It wouldn't be pretty but the war would end with the US still the most powerful nation in control of more territory than the British Empire at it's height, though it probably couldn't keep all of it, ceding much back to various countries at the political bargaining table, The US would retain at least Canada and Mexico dividing both up into several states and incorporating them in the union.

The fact of the matter is that the United States has been defending most of the world for so long that most countries have neglected military spending while the United States has poured taxpayer dollars into updated technology and weapons. To further answer your question about the US having enough equipment/man power, these analytics aren't saying anything about the US having the ability to impose a Draft. They can easily triple the man power of it's forces by imposing a Draft. As others have said, we own many many many many many guns.....did I mention many? There roughly 16 million veterans. Say 10% of that would be infantry vets. So you have 1.6 million. Then you'd have special forces in that mix as well. All Marines are trained to be leaders. A lot of the Marine Corps infantry has some speciality to them. I for instance was part of 1st. Btln. 4th. Marines, 1st Mar. Div Alpha Co Raiders. Many of my unit went on to become Force Recon and Scout snipers. Then you have the U.S. military, reserves and National Guard. THEN you have the weapons that no one knows about. During the Gulf War, the F117 and B-2 was unveiled. The A-12 first flew in 1962. It evolved into the SR-71. And that was in the 60s! Very very few people knew of their existence. Imagine what they have now, 30 years later. All of that plus all of the logistical and geographical challenges would make it near impossible. And if the U.S. did get invaded, what then? Could the world continue to be able to occupy it? For years and decades? Finally, what benefit would there be to doing this? Seriously, it would cost the entire world, the world. Wipe us out and what happens then? The world dies. Yep, we are that important.

There was a board game created back in the 80s or early 90s called Fortess America. It was based on wargaming exercises to replicate this precise scenario. In the end there are two major reasons the attack on America fails. First, we are geographically and geologically impossible to hold. Second, due to the 2nd amendment, enemies have to take every house because so many citizens are armed (the game called them 'partisans' and they would pop up randomly all over America, even behind enemy lines. Combined with high technology, well trained and equipped fighters, and massive in-country resources, it is practically impossible to successfully 'conquer' the United States. And that is also why no state shall be allowed to secede from the Union.

Keep in mind what this video does not mention, our civilization population with guns, has a very large percentage of hunters with sniper level skills, lots of the remaining are also ex military or have been training most of their lives. We could easily field 1 million skilled civilians to support our professional military. Also our air force has a large amount based in country. This would leave a vast majority of our navy, army and air force free to fight in the other areas. We already fought in two separate theaters in two world wars. Saying Britain was the most powerful military force at the time is an understatement. They were the original super power in the world, with influence reaching across the globe at the time of the revolution. Funnily enough, that's one of the reasons they lost. Lol in reference to minute 18:30 when you're thinking that the US would be stretched too thin, remember the Pacific theater in WWII. As a citizen of the UK, it may be easy to forget about the fact that for the entirety of the the US involvement in WWII, it was fighting Japan pretty much by iteself while simultaneously providing the backbone and often times driving force of the European theater's war efforts

There are some missing parts in this video. The US would have strategically occupy our two neighbors. Their military is now the US military. Their wealth is now the US wealth. Cyber attack… the US would just disconnect from the rest of the world. We would return to Arcnet where military installations have access to each other and everything else is blacked out until control is achieved. From there it would be a systematic overcoming of smaller friendlier countries to become Vassal States during wartime using propaganda and a show of strength. I would believe within a months time the North America continent, Japan, and Australia would be Allied with the US. Taiwan already has a military presence there… the US not leaving without destroying those factories. So the US does not have to worry about Taiwan. I would assume the US fleet would cripple the UK rather quickly. Not conquering. Render them ineffective. So now the only area of contention is Europe and Asia. If the US controls all of the shipping lanes and has air superiority… the war is over. The US can just starve everyone else out.

you have to remember, this is based of what is currently publicly available, and the current known military aircraft that the U.S. has has the radar footprint of a small bird, and according to the rumors lately, they have fighter jets that are entirely drone piloted, meaning no physical pilot, but even scarier, is that these drone piloted jets would have a small deployable drone fleet using AI that would seek out targets, and also intercept incoming fire to make sure the main jet survives, and we don't know the footprint of these new jets, but going by the history of how they keep shrinking in radar footprints, it'll come down to physically spotting it in the air, and by then, it will have already struck and left.
@HiddenRealm
@HiddenRealm 3 месяца назад
Those aren't rumors, and the drone fleet thing was actually already used in a conflict already, where the US deployed multiple series of drone fleets to occupy and confuse antiair systems, to enable bombers to fly over, see where the anti air was, and then precision bomb them. This was during Operation Desert Storm during the Gulf War. And this was done back when drones were just surveilance tools. Imagine now, when they have the ability to attack you. Apparently this event during the operation was called "Pubar's Party" after the man who had the idea to do this.

@@Oriii-uu4py Not true, necessarily. The USA chose to give up on all of those conflicts due to costs and strategy. It doesn't make sense to keep throwing life, money, and time at something that is clearly not working in your favor. Also, The USA tries to be civil in war, in other words we don't do like General Grant in the civil war and wage Total War anymore because we want to be seen as heroic and humanitarian on the world stage. If those tactics and brutality and the full force of the US military were used for those conflicts and we were more interested in the regions then they'd still be under US control today. Those fights were only fought with a very small percentage of the US military. We just weren't that interested in holding those assets as they strategically are not very important. Also, we helped to rebuild Vietnam after the war and though we didn't win we destabilized the region and ensured they'd never be a threat. Now we are allies even. These wars were not fought for nothing my Family was personally involved in a number of wars, as I come from a military family. Vietnam, Korea, and WW2 to name a few. Believe me though in a war against the world or for our survival every citizen in America becomes a conscript and a lot of us are veterans that already know how to fight. We would set aside our differences and win and we would employ total war policies where we destroy crops, livestock burn houses, forests, and anything that could be used as a resource by the enemy. Total war was very horrible, but it was effective and part of the reason why the north won in the American Civil War.
