Hey dude! Great to see this. As an FYI, the Strikemaster is actually the armed version of a Jet Provost (the training plane) and saw service in several theatres :)

For a 1st generation jet trainer, first entering service in 1955, the Hunting Aircraft Jet Provost has come a long way!

Surprised they added this but haven't added the Cessna Dragonfly yet, would probably have almost the exact same performance though tbh

I absolutely am loving the Strikemaster, as you say the main issue is that doing CAS it slows you down which means that you have issues vs anything challenging you which makes you need to dump your weapons or die. I am loving pretty much all the weapons but would recommend the T-80 or mighty mouse rockets for their overpressure abilities. Also while its only 2 machineguns, if you are in a 1v1 its more than enough vs most planes you will face.

I think this battle pass did it right, light trainers/strike planes should be added on the game, but under a battle pass in order not to have games with ww2 vehicles filled with 60-80s plane, hope the same for the italian tree.

Not gonna lie it is quite funny on those times you try to showcase an aircraft but end up spending half the time in a tank because you just do so well and survive unlikely encounters

popping smoke grenades on the outside of tanks gives you crits now so makes no sense after they removed assists from optics damage

As a little experienced DO 335 B2 player (5.7 Br) i always see that "lovely" plane in my matches. If they get me from back, i mostly die because they are fast, turns better than my big ass DO335 BUT most of the players who currently play this plane is really dumb, thanks to my 30mm cannons i kill those bastards mostly which i normally shouldnt do that easily but they always do dumb maneveurs.

Like you mentioned at 3:20, crewmember said it. The new crewmember voice helps a lot with spotting especially air targets.

Its an actual unique vehicle. And it gives the UK a decent strike plane for that BR.

Now to keep with the same theme, the AT-37 would be a good add. The "Converter", (converts fuel into horrible noise) or the Tweet has heavier guns and can carry a good load of weapons on the wings. Our building was about 100 yards from where they were parked on base, the sound of those birds were truly terrible!

Some planes are exceptionally unstable now, the P-47's for example also have huge wing imbalance now. Hardly can pull out from a drive after dropping a bomb.

I have a feeling this thing will do wierd things to air RB. Hopefully that includes reaching all the Ju288 bots (yes, owning a ju288 instantly turns you into a bot) before they can score a base.

Honest question, i have 4000 hours in the game. Manage to go positive in just about every tank i play. But not much better than that. Maybe 2/1 kd. Last night i seen a guy get a nuke. I decided to check his stats just because. This guy has 100 plus days in tanks alone and probably 15000 hours in the game...(his name is _fofo for anybody curious) every single vehicle hes every played, hes got a k/d of atleast 5 and some over 12 kills to 1 death. For example, he had a 3.7 t-34 with 2500+ kills and 250 deaths. But he has these stats for literally every vehicle hes ever touched. One tank i seen had over 100 kills and only 8 deaths. Hes got almost every nation maxed. Even his plane stats are like this. The only stats that seem remotely human are his top tier jet stats.... Im under the firm belief that this guy has got to be cheating. There are wayy too many variables to consistently maintain 5-10+ kill/death ration in literally any vehicle you touch. This guy HAS TO BE CHEATING. go look him up in game. I want opinions. If hes not cheating then he literally doesnt do anything else but play war thunder from 8 am to midnight all day every day. He has the most inhuman stats ive seen out of anybody ever. I mean, how do you avoid being revenge bombed when getting 10+ kill games every single game. This guys stats means he'll go multiple games without dying or he'll get a 12 kills each game before dying EVERY. SINGLE. GAME.! i cant be losing my mind. Someone back me up. Its very likely that he has as many hours as he does because hes been cheating from day 1. Also, If you think back to when he first touched the game, theres absolutely zero chance he was THAT good from the get go. He had to of had shitty stats at some point. But theres zero evidence of that.

They should add the "Sky Warden" and the Super Tucano to the USA tech tree. Both are great aircraft taht would fit in a lower br tech tree imo.

you always make me want to go back to playing right up until you cas defenseless ground vehicles and dunk on spaa with impunity (plane having the time, speed and spatial awareness to avoid incoming fire while spaas are by far mostly open topped and much too slow to avoid cannon rounds, rockets and bombs). shts barely different from using ESP or aimbots in any other game.

meanwhile, Pulkzersterer sits at 6.7 with nerfed to oblivion cannon.....just fuck gaijin

poor Bucket_Chicken in that last game, you killed him then said he'd come back for you, then you killed him and he got you, then he pancaked into the ground, then you killed him in his AA not long after that spawn XD
