That was absolutely fantastic !! What a story ..what a incredible part of history. They had to survive through that in times of war.

I can clarify that it was based on a true story. However, certain facts were omitted and the ship hit a German mine that sank her.

Great Acting and special effects, Totally mythical storyline, good thing they set the sinking in the dark, to delineate it from actual history, as the sinking actually happened in daylight hours.

Loving this wonderful movie! It waas very well made. For me, at least, it was not looking like TV set. Jacqueline Bisset set the tone for this epic movie! She's done that with Anna Karenina, as well

Just where did you take history?? I have never heard of this before. Still no t sure of this is based on actual history or phantasy. I take a keen interest in history, but I only ever heard of the Lusitania and the Laconia in WW II. Speaking of ships, are you familiar with the Gustloff??

The story is set two years after the start of WW1 so its 1916. The Irish sailor says Ireland is suffering under the Black and Tans who did not arrive in Ireland until 1920.

Immature female - only loves him after one night of passion, no realization of the murderer that he is - killing non-combatants. A good movie ending in pure sentimentality like a paperback romance booklet. So disappointing -

It isn't on the Form you have to fill in. It was one of the questions on my Canadian Census Form (1) Canadian Citizen ? (2) Titanic survivor ? (3) Strong tendency to swoon in the arms of foreign agents, killers, saboteurs ?

I am from Bharath.. india.. I hate British for there rule in my country.. but I also respect there bravery .. creativity.. intelligence . Two worst intelligent officer.. from 2 country.. paid the price.. u boat sank .. and the ship sank.. both were coward.. actually both wanted to live.. the last man to die.. suicide.. boat cannot be pulled .. BUT TWO PEOPLE CAN BE..
