I LOVE London so much. Hampstead Heath. Wall’s ice cream. The Tube. Upper deck buses. West End theatre. The Tate..day trips to Bath. Endless things to do.
What an absolutely gorgeous day to fly into LHR! Amazingly beautiful video my friend! I remember I flew into Heathrow a couple years ago from Islamabad and I got exactly the same kinda beautiful clear day with some clouds to fly through initially on the approach. It’s mesmerizing to see London through clouds for some reason! Landed on the same runway with the Concord on your right side, welcoming you into LHR. I had an old phone at that time so my video was not this beautiful but yours brought back the nostalgia. Thank you for that and keep posting more amazing landings and take offs ❤
Really clear. HD? Amazing. 😎The engine fan blades, the scenery. Everything is crystal clear compared with so many other videos of the type. Great job. 👍👍
I flew from London to Mexico City a few years back and I`d have guessed that the wing tip /winglet was about 3 ft high. It`s 7ft high. That was on a Boeing 747 : 400.
Gosh! What a stunning video. I've never seen the aerial view of London with such clarity. I even saw Tower Bridge and The Tower of London. And I've never ‘not heard’ a quieter engine lol. Very well done and thank you. 😊
12.46................We are lucky to have those huge parks Hyde Park,Regents park in central Lodon 14.24..........................................Also the beautiful Kew garden in west london
One of my favorite part during approach/landing. Thrust lowering and increasing as the plane try to keep steady speed. Even better if you're there in person. you can feel the sudden acceleration and deceleration. Then when they drop the gear. You can feel the sudden drag so much. Amazing experience every ride.
@@ALPShiva Air Traffic Control will ask the pilots to maintain a certain speed on approach to regulate the flow of traffic onto the runway. The pilots can input this speed into the aircraft's Flight Management System, and the aircraft will automatically regulate engine thrust to maintain that speed.
Beautiful video. A pleasure to watch. I always video an approach and landing. I saw a Concorde during the landing and a good old Qantas A380 parked on the tarmac.
My flight into London from Frankfurt in a A320 was interesting. There were storms over London and the aircraft was struck by lightning! There was a loud BANG! Terrified me. Turns out it was only lightening.. the plane was circling for quite a while…
A350 with RR engines, quieter and so much more comfortable than the 787. Pay more for them but a whole better aircraft. Great trip into London, done many times but not with such good weather.
Oh, all the wonderful noises aircraft make as they land. Slats, wheels changes in engine speed and to cap it all the beautiful Trent sitting outside.I am 80 but intend to cram in a few more long haul and a few trips for holidays in Europe. Yep, and I do not mind paying my £6 for my Visa into Europe. We are a third country now so we have to pay for our folly in '16.
What I love about London is it's history, if you know where to look. Stop the vid at 11:07 and see the Great Cambridge Rd leading straight out from the city of London. One of the main routes from the Thames crossing built by our Roman conquerers 2000 years ago.
`Love these videos. It is only when one becomes closer to the ground that one realises how fast the plane is going ( after slowing down considerbaly from cruizing altitude ).
@@danielellis3335 I missed two of those 😆, my 3 were Craven Cottage (appears briefly at the bottom just after Stamford Bridge) and the ex Olympic Stadium at Stratford, where West Ham play.
@@Neil_BT Yes I was looking for craven cottage as it is nearby Chelsea's ground, I found it afterwards. I should of remembered it's right by the water. Yh saw West Ham's ground aswell
Good views of the London Wetland Centre and Chiswick Park. Right over Kew Gardens. Palm house clearly visible at 14.23. East-West approach. Bad news for the houses in Hounslow!!
