A very useful update - thank you. Having broken the first Club suite on G-ZBLB (second 787-10 delivered) in May 2022 ("not to worry sir, so far in four days we've had seven passengers pull the red lever assuming it was the release"....) I am pleased to see the rollout of the suites. Ying-yang has had its day. The LGW 777s are now seriously showing their age - especially with the crew escape hatch above row 3, removing overhead bin space. Please keep these updates coming.
By the time they finish installing those new club suites, they’ll be getting close to being out of date. Not that I mind too much - I still quite the old club seat.
@@scottishvampire I am encouraged by the audience reaction to this video. I intend to do a feature on BA Long Haul fleet replacement options and I propose to discuss the Gatwick 772 replacement. Watch this space!
@maxthelab8457 Well, the LGW 777-200s are well maintained and were built by Boeing after the 1980s "marijuana on the line and fire sensors mis-wired" problem and the later quality SNAFU cluster. I have walked away from each LGW landing, which works just fine for me! But the interiors (eg LGW-TPA March 2023) are, I agree, pretty tatty now. The airframes though, get my vote.
