I'm from a tribe from East Mercia who in the early 1800's moved to what was to become the great industrial complex of Birmingham. During my two tours in Ghana I had many friends predominately Ga and Ewe. I have no bias, for and against any Ghanaian ethnic tribe. I did however notice that the Asante and the other Akan tribes felt themselves to be superior while many saw the Hausa as inferior. Maybe something similar to that good old British class system.
Thanks for sharing your experiences. Yes, class is a thing in most societies. No one tribe or ethnic group like to be dominated by another one. I think what make society work is for everyone to be human and love another human like themselves. Ofcourse in reality there’s always someone one tribe vs another. As long as there is rule of law everywhere behave.
You don't conclude on the attitude of a whole tribe by meeting fee people. There's no truth in what you said. You'll find hospitality, humility, and love from all the tribes in Ghana.
@@heylson BA kinda have a monopoly on direct flight from 🇬🇧 since they used their political influence to push Virgin (who used to also have direct flight) out. BA are taking advantage of Accra being a party destination in December for neighbouring countries, Ghanaian expatriates and diasporas from USA, Canada, the Caribbean and Latin America.
Why is Akwaaba only inscribed at the London Heathrow Airport Arrivals/Depature? why not other Ghanaians languages, are you supporting tribalism in Ghana or what? Akan is not the only spoken languege in Ghana, fix that.
@@andrewabel3927 It doesn’t matter what tribe I’m, my question to you is, which of the following tribes are you? Akan, Bono, fanti, Hausa, Ewe and Ga? Do you think tribalism exists in the concept of Ghana as we speak and who are the most educated tribe in Ghana and as well criminal tribes in Ghana?
Flew in from Accra last December in the A350, gotta say the comfort is terrible!! I was booked for premium economy but nevertheless there’s never been worse food, space and general comfort on any other BA flight I’ve had
