Half the reason people watch the Super Bowl is for the commercials. Although honestly the last couple of years they don't see quite as funny. I think companies are afraid of offending everyone or anyone.

The Tide one was especially great because (if I remember right) it wasn't played in a continuous chunk like it was here but in at least 2 separate commercials, the 2nd commercial really caught you off guard. in any case, I adore the "No, Tide." diamond one.

The Terry Tate one was an ongiong ad for Reebok and was so good that people thought he was an actual former NFL player

The time machine doritos commercial was made by a guy in Phoenix Arizona. My favorite was the tide commercial also. Made me laugh.

I have been watching the Super bowl for the last 28 years. Even if my teams are not in there. If I don't like the teams. I find my most liked one and root for them. Honestly though.. It's the Super Bowl commercials that make it worth it. LOL.. There are so many back in the day.. Best for me are the "Budweiser Clydesdale and frogs" in the mid 90's.

My fella had his horses Penny & Patty in a Budweiser ad years ago. I can't imagine what getting that phone call for an audition felt like! I'd love to find some sort of Budweiser collectible item from that year as a gift for him. Sadly, all he has left is a candid photo and a worn out VHS tape of him and the sisters, the rest was lost in a major flood.

While you I am sure recognized Betty White in the Snickers commercial the man subsequently tackled was Abe Vigoda best known for playing the character Fish on Barney Miller and it's spin off Fish back in the late 1970s ... You might possibly know him from the movie Good Burger.

Ads aren’t usually about the product. Typically ads will feature a story or plot then will mention the product the end. The reason is having an ad be memorable to more effective then just saying the products nane the entire time.

those were some of the worst super bowl ads lol 🤦‍♂ the doritos ones were pretty good, but tide and bud light were cringe. sorry but those were not the "funniest of all time"

Huh - so those definitely weren't the funniest of all time. I've def seen better in decades past. I seem to recall 2005 Super Bowl adds being on fire. But anyways... its all subjective anyways. Good video Beesleys!

These commercials where okay but the real funny ones are from the 70's, 80's and 90's, but I'm old fashion. One other observation, hopefully that's grape juice that she is drink and not wine, since she is pregnant.
