I have told you once that,we as English learners, are lucky to have you on this channel. I am so happy to tell you that I have been applying these tips you have just recommanded for more than two years. and now I have a big notebook full of notes, expressions, idioms, collocations you name it , taken from movies and tv series. I also imagine myself telling people about what I think of these movies and of the actors and actresses in English. I even asked a british online teacher about some idioms and he kindly provided me with helpful explanation. I am so proud of my progress in English though I know that I need to pay more attention to punctuation.
@@gsl-english to be honest although I understand you are so busy I got disoppointed when I did not get a reply to my comment at that time. but believe me your precious replay has really my day. Thank you ,Teacher
I am a big fan of The Beatles. I watched this film at the cinema. I was alone, no more people! Magic! The music, the atmosphere of the film - it was great! I'm glad you liked it!
Hi, I'm familiar with such feelings, when circumstances are above a person and you're not able to change anything. But finally you're back home. I have to admit, you've given us great tips about learning English with movies. I remember my experience: at first it'd taken way too much time due to the unknown words which I had to look for in the dictionary, but over time it has been turning out easier and easier. I really enjoyed watching without subtitles "The two popes", but my all-time favourite movies are "Forrest Gump" and "The English patient". Have you watched them? Thank you so much for your podcast.
Thank you very much for postcard that help me to understand english better but just now the big problem is not knowing the words as all Only a little bit of words when you have talk over about some are so many new words on summary.great thanks to its.
Crime movies... they are captivating films for me. They keep me on the edge of my seat. I love the plot twists and events in Agatha Christie's stories; she is a very cultured writer. She weaves social, political, and even medical insights into her films. I find myself actively engaging my mind to solve the crime and learning from her ideas presented in the films. The curtain' is one of her most captivating and thrilling works. Thanks teacher Gideon and welcome back...🌻
I've always thought.. The more you listen - the better. My daily routine begins listening the news on BBC Radio World Service - my old time favorite radio station.. And it doesn't matter if I don't understand every single word.. Who does? But exposing myself to such output makes my English listening skills improving day after day. Thanks so much for your dedication and keep on posting helpful Videos 👍

I prefer TV shows to movies because I feel like I'm part of the show and I become attached to the characters. Recently, I watched a thrilling British TV show called "The Gentlemen" released this year and available on Netflix. If you haven't already, I recommend it to you. It worth a watch. Thanks for your efforts, and I I'm glad that you and Heather finally made it back home safely 🎉
