@@kathifailor4660 I disagree. For example, if Story goes to public school in the US. What would you think she will learn? Do you even know how bad school these days? Teenagers getting pregnant at 16. Kids bully other kids at school. Teachers do not care. The victim of bully will suffer depression. And worst of all sexualizing the kids through their textbooks. Lastly, indoctrinating the kids. Now you tell me. Would you want your kids to be in that school you highly glorified just now? I do not have time tell you how bad in school these days.

@@noej1003 DID YOU READ NY COMMENT? I said nothing about the USA ? I was talking about. She needs to have friends in her area where she lives. She's isolated with just her parents day in and day out. Once in awhile story will have friends to play with but she should be going to that school that they used to let her go to to interact with kids her own age. Did you play with kids in the neighborhood? Did you have friends... exactly Story deserves to have some friends as well. I'm not talking about school or USA or anything. I'm talking about friends

I'm 68. I grew up with a Party line on our phone. We always Sat down for dinner and played in the woods and creeks. I'm glad you and others are going back to the simple and refreshing and serene life I was raised. I feel really sorry for the Internet children today that don't experience the world around them

That's because they are not really poor.. 😂😂😂😂 We live simply and humbly, and yet, they make their kids finish college, and many of them have big houses in the province. 😂😂😂 Plus, you can tell that through our smiles, kindness, generosity, and being hospitable. Every fiesta, you can go and eat any home you want to visit, we always invite and let our neighbors feed very well. 😂😂😂😂 You are the example of an ignorant western mindset. We are happy we are kind. We have content and gratitude. And no Rich or wealthy American have that. 😂😂😂😂😅😅😅 Not even your millionaires, and even your billionaires. 😂😂😂😅😅😅 What's the point of being rich and wealthy materially, when you are so poor internally, emotionally, psychologically, spiritually and physically? 😂😂😂😅😅 Bare that in mind.

Well if she wasn't so isolated with just her parents on a daily basis and I had actual friends there in her area to play with a couple times a week. But no, I think she'd be happier if she had some children to play with

It's getting worse here in the UK. Everyday someone is killed, a knife crime problem. A young 14 year old yesterday was killed by a man with a sword. You hear the same news everyday so scary....

I homeschooled all my 4 and I was so glad it was so easy in the UAE. America has too many rules. We moved around a lot so homeschooling was best for us. I loved the freedom.

I've been following through your videos before the pandemic and I just want to tell you that your videos are one of the few factors that made us consider enrolling my youngest sister into a homeschool program (under the charlotte mason curriculum) here in the PH. I really admired the freedom that you had and the lifestyle that you maintained. Ever since home-schooling her, we noticed improvements with our schedule and our family getting closer as well! I've been watching you guys since the beginning back in the Chiang Mai days with Eden. I'm not one for commenting too much on youtube but i enjoy your content and today i felt like was a good time to comment. Yes well story needs friends or her cousins growing up but she has neither 😮 she's isolated with just you guys so maybe some activities with kids in the Philippines There's got to be something she can do with other children in your area because it's about your kids!!! not about you!!!!! lol right!!! ,, also, I don't think the UK gives you a penalty unless the kids are enrolled in public schools. So if you take your child out of a public school system and you take a longer vacation days than you're supposed to, then maybe you'll get fined But if you're homeschooling in the UK, you don't get fined because you're homeschooling, so you should be more clear on that

This is can very true. My family has always housed our grandparents until they passed. Even when we moved to America this was the case. Additionally, Polynesians are very family oriented as well, not just with immediate family, but also with extended family, as you mentioned.

In Philippines public & private school there is no such thing as "fine" for being absent in school. You can send an excuse letter or talk to the teacher that the student will be absent for so & so days. It is up to the student to catch up on missed discussions & exam.

In the Philippines, if the siblings are raised properly, they support each other. It, gives the feeling that you are not alone in the world, because there are relatives to go to for support. Of course it is important to be a team player, not just a free loader.

Agree with most of what you are saying in this vlog 👍but...I think you contradict yourself. Each to their own of course, but apart from Sasha's father you now have ALL your relatives not 8 miles from home but 6000+ miles away. That to me looks like an even bigger split. Affordable housing and land is still very much available within Europe, a stone throw away from your family in UK.....Greetings from Sweden

The fact is that you have chosen not to be with family. You have chosen to live on your own so far away that it is a burden for any of them to visit. The children will forget about each other over time and will not be close as adults. Frankly, it's over. I know I have seen it many times. Promises and wishes (and videos) don't make it happen. Just the simplicity of daily life. Going through the ups and downs together. Sitting on a beach is meaningless. It is not paradise. Your true values are becoming apparent regardless of what you preach.
