Casper is my favorite. His ear was bald due to injuries. He was all over the news here. Can you imagine 11 people intent on killing you and 9n were piled up, two missing and you survived? complete badass
Wolverines are basically honey badgers in the snow... I had a friend who rescued an injured baby wolverine on a hunting trip in central Alaska... now that wolverine still visits the man a few times a year close to where the wolverine was released at his Alaskan house near the copper river!
Historically dolphins have been credited with saving many human lives. Some survivors of the USS Indianapolis said that dolphins helped keep sharks away from them even though the water was filled with blood. In some places killing a dolphin is as frowned upon as killing an albatross. The killer is ostracized and other fishermen/sailors will not go to sea with him.
We have a lot of Coyotes in my area and in fact my mother recently saved a neighbor's dog from the jaws of one. It's quite incredible that Casper was able to fight off and kill that many of them. Now that really is a good boy!
I remember this Casper story. I think dogs must be like people in that some can fight, some can't, and some are like leonard, Mayweather, tyson and Ali. 😂😂😂 Casper seems like he's a mix of tyson and Ali, hell maybe foreman!
My mom had a congenital heart defect and developed sleep apnea. She had no idea and would stop breathing in the night. Her cat always slept next to her and would wake her up. After a while she put two and two together and went to the doctor for the diagnosis.
There have been several incidents where a person was drowning or being attacked by a shark, then a dolphin out of nowhere shows up and protects the person from the shark or pulls the drowning person to shore.
My Weimaraner dog always “saved” my sister when we’d go swimming. Not for me just her. And she was a pro swimmer lol And my 9lbs mini pinscher chased bears from our property many times… giving me a near heart attack each time.
Ha Ha, Gaynor is talking about the old show Lassie. There was an idiot son named Timmy who was always falling down a well, or ending up at the deep end of a raven. And Lassie had to run back to her parents and bark. And the parents would say.. What is that, girl. Timmy is being an idiot again and needs help. 😁
That dolphin very well may have been trained but believe it or not there are a lot of documented cases where dolphins and whales have helped rescue humans in the wild.
Interesting story: my grandma was watching my dog a decade or so ago and took her out to do her business. My grandma fell and my dog busted out of our gate and brought back our neighbor. Still can’t believe it to this day.
7:19 when your dog is doing defensive attacking your not suppose to disturb them or call out to them because you can distract them in the moment they could let their defenses down and accidentally get an attack on them 😭but of course have a long baton on you to help
No Dolphins don't need any training to rescue humans. They will rescue you in the open ocean, they will fight off sharks that are near you. Neither of the Dolphin clips are amazing or surprising because that's just what Dolphins do.
Many years ago, a big dog came into my yard. He seemed unfriendly. My dog was on a chain and unable to do much. Don't worry, my Siamese cat jumped on the dogs back and dug in his claws and the dog ran away screaming in pain.
I lived in Sweden for many years and owned a home bordering a large wilderness. It was a small village of only 1500 people. I had a chocolate lab, and would walk her afield but at night we stuck to the lit roads. At the end of our block we walked up to the edge of a hedgerow and not 4 meters in front of us was a large coyote. It was alone, thankfully. We all froze in our tracks for what seemed like a few seconds, not moving. My dog gave an assertive "buff" and the coyote just took off. Biscuit was in no way afraid.
@@kathleenchilcote9127 yes, you're right. I am an American so I must have used the wrong word. I didn't say wolf because while it was clearly a wild dog, I had neighbors tell me that the returning wolves into Sweden (they were absent in the 1960s) were an admixture- not exactly the same. I suppose wolf is the correct term, though, as the thing was up to my waist and I am 173cm (about 6 foot).
I think coyotes are pack animals and don’t venture off alone. They might appear to be alone but more or less baiting other animals to follow it and then they ambush it.
My dog a great Pyrenees and Bulldog mix jump our fence and grabbed my pants and pulled me to our back yard. I went through the gate to the back yard and he brought me to the far corner and on the outside of our chain link fence the neighbors had a barb wire fence and thier horse was tied up in the fence. He was my dogs buddy so I had to get him out. I reached through our fence to the Barb wire with a stick and push it away from the horses leg. He got loose and went up on two legs and came down and nuzzled my face. Then my dog jumped up and they nuzzled. It was such a cool moment
When I lived in Colorado we’d have a bear that would come scratch up our hot tub and the wooden gazebo built around it, our cat would always go down there and scare it off.
Shocked by the wolverine, it is about the last creature I would want to meet!! As far as the penguin, most predators will go after a weak animal or a young one to better their chances of success.
Here's one of my favorite wild life encounters. ''Viral video shows cougar stalking Utah hiker in terrifying 6-minute encounter - FULL VIDEO | ABC7'' by ABC7
I think cats fighting off other animals is not only because they’re protecting their family but also because THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY CRAZY!!! 😂 But please don’t tell my daughter I said that, she has 3 cats and 3 wiener dogs which of course are her and her husband’s “children”! So I’m basically calling 3 of my grandchildren (?) crazy! 😂😂😂😂
I saw a video where a coyote ambushed a guys dog in his neighborhood and he rushed out and basically released his inner caveman and picked and up, slammed it on the ground and beat the shit out of it. I would do the same.
I was curious about that and found a video called "Lulu to the Rescue - It's a Miracle" that has the whole reenactment. In reality I'm sure the extent of the pig's actions is unknown.
Please don’t judge us. These are nothing. A brave German shepherd saved a child from a CALF? A calf that was already leaving? The cougar wasn’t a threat. Those dogs would be deli sliced if the cougar meant business
If they had trained the dolphin to rescue someone. Why would they need to set up the scenario to find out if they would? You already know the answer...because they were trained, right. So obviously not trained to rescue.
9:52 dolphins are like a creepy chihuahua of the sea and sharks are like American pitbull terriers of the sea 🤷🏻🤷🏻🤷🏻there is reported cases of dolphins trying to r4pe humans 😳☹️
@@kimson305 Yes. Dolphins are infamously rapey. Just like humans they'll stick their peens in anything that it will fit inside of. Seals are known to rape penguins, and elephants will anally rape rhinos if they don't get a mate. In nature rape is as common as it is in human society, we just hear about the human cases.
I've only ever kicked an animal once in my life. that was when my cat was squaring up against a rattlesnake and I kicked the cat to get it to go away. the rattlesnake looked like it was about to strike since it was raising its head real slow. cats seem very aware they have 9 whole lives. I'd much rather wrestle a shark in the ocean than fight a cat. at least the shark isn't trying to kill me.
Chatwood literally bite you until you feel lightning coursing through you Aiden I can't describe to you until you feel it but a cat bite when he wants to hurt you feels like lightning
That's the only way I can describe it when I got bit by my neighbor's count it feels like lightning believe me they can f******hurt you when they want to
They feel that the human is in distress they help them it has nothing to do with anyting they do it because instinct being told to them they have not been trained to do it at all
When i go visit my mom upstate ,i hear coyotes just about every night .They sound like a bunch of hyenas when they are attacking somthing. Its really creepy @ 2 or 3 am lol
9:12. That dog just crunched that coyote's head! Also, this is a little known fact if you're not a farmer, but outside of apes and cetaceans like whales and dolphins, pigs are the smartest animals. Followed closely behind by crows, ravens, magpies, and parrots.
I was coming to say the same thing. Pigs are exceedingly smart. The can be trained just like but so much more easily. They can also be as mean as any guard dog. I keep a few with my goats. Zero predator problems.
Wolverines aren't cuddly helpers. I've never heard of a wolverine that helped a human. Don't ever approach them! Don't be like those crazy idiots that go to Yellowstone National Park & walk up to an American Bison thinking it's a cow.
I hate how the narrator keeps describing animals completely wrong. Hammerheads are usually very shy and quickly dive away. And describing wild animals as ferocious and basically evil/bad is so annoying. Also imagine you laying on the floor, ofc you would do your utmost to stand up or make yourself taller towards a bigger creature. „I hate how the snake stand up like that…“ Ignorance at its finest. Coyotes are also not vicious 😡 this video pisses me off. Dolphins are literally the worst. Dolphins are often called the “rapists of the sea,” primarily for their insatiable sex drive. If you swim with them, you might think they are just being really playful, but they probably have something different on their mind. When male dolphins want to mate, some will form an “alliance” of a few dolphins. They will then select one female dolphin to kidnap from another “pod,” which is a group of dolphins. The male dolphins will then attack and separate her from the group, and take her away to where they can be away with her alone. The dolphins then take turns mating with the female dolphin and only let her leave after they’ve finished. If the female dolphin resists, they can bite and smack her, and scientists have observed many such wounds on dolphins before. Male dolphins will attack & kill a female's babies so that they can then mate with her and get more of her attention. Many species of animals do this, and it’s completely cruel. It took a while to figure out this one, but scientists in Virginia were baffled when young dolphin tortoises kept washing up ashore completely bruised and attacked. Turns out it was the dolphin fathers (or step-fathers) having a little attack nibble at them... dolphins were caught doing in one research wildlife preserve; a group of dolphins found a young baby shark and decided to toss it around like a game of volleyball. They could just gobble up their fishies, but nope- that’s not enough. Some dolphins have been observed slapping little fish around for fun, or even tossing them up on a beach to watch them suffocate slowly. Dolphins will hump anything that moves, and males aren’t the only ones guilty here- females are known to do this as well. Dolphins will have group sex, and have sex with other animal species- even if the species is dead they’ll still hump the body. Some human scuba-divers have been put into compromising positions as dolphins (including females) have attempted to court human scuba-divers and mate with them. Dolphins are vicious, but compared to other less evil and vicious animals, they have „pretty privilege“.
Cats are 🤪 and i didn't know wolverines were real either. 😂😂 And Gaynor. There have been some dolphins in the sea that have saved humans in trouble. Dolphins are amazing and smart! Pigs are super smart as well. My grandmother used to raise them for food but they were so smart and actually loving that she got attached and she couldn't continue to do it.
Many of these clips are bogus. Where is the cameraman standing? The dog and the tiger cubs are playing, not fighting. The dolphin footage is bs. They sare training for a show.
These vids are great to see but sadly it's not the way most of these vids end. These are by far the exception which I guess is what makes them fascinating.
