Lol! I never really noticed that about this song before, though. Tati is definitely an Incubus fan. She went to one of their concerts during the last US tour. I remember her posting it on Instagram.

Incubus is one of my all time favourite bands and I never even thought about the similar vocal licks in the verse. That's so cool!

I agree with Ghost Love Score and Awakening, and even Greatest Show On Earth this early, but Poet And The Pendulum is not an introductory level Nightwish song. It's definitely not a good one for just a second taste of Nightwish. That's a very personal song about a specific moment in the band's history, and it makes absolutely no sense to someone who is unfamiliar with the backstory. I really do not understand why a handful of people keep recommending it so early. There's been enough reactions that it's obvious listening to Poet too early hinders the listener's enjoyment of the song - enjoyment that is still lacking even after returning later for a second listen armed with the proper knowledge. You can still get impact on second viewing, but the enjoyment is lost. It shouldn't even be mentioned until the listener at least is familiar with the band members. Otherwise it's like telling someone watching your favorite TV show for the first time to start with the season 5 finale. It makes no sense.

Bands I’ve fallen in love with (and happen to be female fronted) since Jinjer opened my mind to this style of music are, Blind Ivy . My Star is my favorite song by them. Also, Monochromatic Black - The Herd. Edit: I almost forgot Entheos Perpetual Miscalculations (the practice video with Chaney Crabb and Navene has the best audio and video).
