I’ve always looked it like they’re a couple in love, but life and kids, etc, just got in the way and they just needed to get back to each other to refresh and bring themselves back to the core of them without life interruptions.
My husband and I were just hit by this song when it came out. It’s exactly what we needed - to be reminded of what was missing in the craziness that was three kids and two full time jobs. It was a talking springboard.
My daughter lives in Nashville and goes to the same Church as Carrie. One Sunday my daughter saw 3 empty seats and asked if they were being saved. The Lady told her that only 2 of them were saved so my daughter sat in the far seat. A few minutes later Carrie and her husband sat down in the other two seats. My daughter said, “ Carrie was so very sweet”.
Omg, excited to watch this one! Carrie and Brad are super good friends in real life. He surprised the audience at her Nashville show last year, and they did an acoustic version of this song, which I was there for. It was amazing. You definitely gotta check out some more Carrie Underwood if you get around to it. She's got an amazing voice and is a crazy good entertainer. She does a lot of live rock covers. I saw her cover "Welcome to the Jungle" on her Denim and Rhinestones tour last year -- which you can find on YT. She also did an amazing cover of "Paradise City" at CMA Fest one year. Highly recommend either of those. Also, not sure if you're spiritual or not... but her cover of "How Great Thou Art" with Vince Gill at the Women's Night Out (I think that's what the event was called) is INSANE. She got a standing ovation that lasted for a long time. There wasn't a dry eye in the house!!!!
OMG ... these 2 together.. PERFECTION!! They co-hosted a country music awards show for a few years in a row because their chemistry is so insane, they call each other siblings. 😂 Please more from both of these artists. • *"I'm Gonna Miss Her"* by *Brad Paisley* (This MV is funny, his wife Kimberly is in it) • *"Tears Of Gold"* by *Carrie Underwood* & *David Bisbal* (He is a big artist from Spain, Carrie sings a little in Spanish)
I interpret the song that they have lost the excitement they used to have for each other even though they love each other but they done express it anymore. They need to remind each other and get the spark back
As others have said, Carrie and Brad are great friends and are often known as Paisleywood by their fans. They've sung together quite a bit, though primarily on album cuts and live performances along with hosting the CMA Awards together for 10 years. However, this was their only official single together. A couple of duets to try: Oh Love (my favorite of theirs that I wish had been a single), Louisiana Woman, Mississippi Man (live performance), and High Life, a classic Brad comedic song.
There’s a song called “Start A Band” with Brad Paisley and Keith Urban where they both show off their guitar chops!! It’s a fun song and excellent guitar solos! 👵🏼💜☮️
If by the "Cars Song" you mean "Life is a Highway" no that was Rascall Flatts. And I gotta say, the way you present yourself, it is honestly hard to ever imagine you grumpy, please, thank your wife from us for softening you up, your reactions are always a joy to watch.
Rascal Flatts are so good!! "What Hurts the Most" and "Come Wake Me Up" wreck me every time. "Praying for Daylight" is also a favorite of mine, when I want something a little more upbeat and classic.
I'm glad you like it. Please check out Carrie Underwood and Miranda Lambert singing Somethin' Bad. Plus Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban singing The Fighter,
IF you want some more, truly country voices check out Mark Chesnut, "Almost Goodby", "King of broken Hearts" or Allen Jackson, "Wanted", "Just playen Possum", George Strait, "Amarillo by morning" "I can still make Cheyenne" , Traves Tritt, "Drift off to Dream" , Where corn donen't grow", etc.
Brad Paisley, like Toby Keith, can do serious and funny. I like his songs Online and Celebrity. I also like his song with Dolly Parton...When I Get Where I'm Going. i sang it once at a funeral.
You have reacted to many of his heartfelt touching songs. I recommend that you check out some of his humorous ones: • I’m Gonna Miss Her (featuring his wife, actress Kimberly Williams-Paisley…though the cameos by US sports & TV folks many not hit as funny) • Celebrity • Alcohol • Online (spot a young Taylor Swift?) … and many more, of course I’ll also echo the recommendation for Start a Band with Keith Urban. And he did do Find Yourself and Behind the Clouds for Cars
This is such a great song and Brad Paisley has plenty. My favorites of his are Part Two, Then, Remind Me (with Carrie Underwood), He Didn’t Have To Be, Letter To Me, Ticks, I Wish You’d Stay, Who Needs Pictures, I’ve Been Better, Holdin’ On To You, Alcohol, Celebrity, I'm Still a Guy, and Water.
another great reaction brother. if youve never heard it then i suggest Love Wins by Carrie Underwood. amazing song. also i hope nothing ever does change between you and your wife. may you guys always be happy and in love.
If you are a fan of country music, Martina McBride’s storytelling and vocal abilities would make for great reaction videos (especially Concrete Angel, A Broken Wing, or Where Would You Be)
You need to do some funny Brad like I'm Going to Miss Her (his wife is in it), or I'm Still A Guy. If you want another fun with Keith Urban try Start A Band (2 of the best guitarist in country music)
Brad Paisley is one of my favorite singers. The other one is Toby Keith. If you want to see and hear some patriotic and comedy videos, then give Toby Keith a try. He also has some great country music videos.
They are both amazing & I know you have watched several tunes by Brad, but they have all been serious. He has some fun ones too & you need to check out his funny side. 'I'm still a guy', 'Ticks' or 'I'm gonna miss her'. (His real-life wife plays his wife in that video). Check out the other side of Brad. Also, after hearing about your suck childhood, I am so glad you have a wonderful loving partner now.
Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley have hosted the CMAs together multiple times. They’re funny but you’d have to know a lot more about country to get some of the jokes.
Fun Brad Paisley fact...back in 2007 when Taylor Swift was promoting her first album she was one of the opening acts for his concert tour. Not sure if you knew that she was a country artist first. Also, if you want to hear a great Brad Paisley guitar song you should watch Brad Paisley and Keith Urban with Start a Band.
