The thing about Dimash is that he doesn't work on selling the song, and himself. He inhabits each song to tell its unique story. Dimash is one person whom we can say justifiably that he's "supercalifragilisticexpialidocious" !!

To answer your question, instead of screaming and giving a standing ovation, in many instances it is considered proper etiquette in that part of the world to remain seated except for when giving flowers...which Dimash has always donated to hospitals, nursing homes, and the like. By the way, someone once asked him why he incorporates fire and water elements so often in his performances. And his answer was................because he liked them.❤😜❤

The steppe wolf and steppe eagle, fire, and the mountains are the ancient icons of the nomadic Kazakh people. I grew up there, my sister and several friends went to uni with him. He often uses one or more in his videos and performances. In One Sky, we all noticed the cry of the eagles at the very end and it touched us as almost as much as the film. We all looked at each other knowing what the sound was and those not already in tears began crying. About the flowers, please see my explanation in my comments. I love the authority he shows when he walks down the stage. He is a master of his craft. If you watch to the end of this video - but on Dimash’s own YT channel - you’ll see what a sweet person he is: he said to the audience that he wanted to wish his sister Raushan a happy 18th birthday that day, and that he loved her very much ... (He’s so close to all his family, which is lovely..)

This video is on both Igor and Dimash's channel. The one on Dimash's has English subs. He also he has a vocalize version too, which is how he sings this song now. Also the MV is pretty artistic. In Russia, instead whooping and hollering, they applaud and give flowers. So, everywhere Dimash goes these days, he's always full of flowers and gifts. Lol. He tends to donate the flowers to nursing homes and hospitals as it's usually too much for him. But the gifts, if its jewelry or clothing he tends to wear them. So if you see interviews and he's wearing an article of clothing with his name on it, it was probably a gift. Lately when he's been traveling, he's been wearing an Los Angeles baseball hat which apparently he likes, as he's been wearing it everywhere, was a gift from a USA Dear. Dimash always surprises me, you should watch Dudarai, his other new performance.

Giving flowers, especially to male artist, is common in eastern block countries. I believe you would appreciate his presentation of "I'll Die for the Wind of the Mountain". This is an Armenian folk song he learned the day before the concert there to perform as a surprise and gift to the audience.

Nunca he visto a algún artista recibir tantas flores como Dimash, a veces es necesario que entren a ayudarle con todas las flores! Es la manera de demostrarle su admiración y respeto! yes flowers are normal thing in eastern music culture but but but... after the concert, not in between songs. but this is Dimash, he accepted flowers once and it became a custom to drawn him in flowers more then he can carry.

Vaše přání vidět a slyšet Dimashe by se vám mohlo splnit, v prosinci bude mít koncert v Hongkongu, a myslím si, že termíny koncertů na rok 2024 jsou v jednání! Taky ho milujeme a chceme ho opět vidět! :-)

8:50 he is moving his mic away from him when he sings loud/high and also his sound producer knows what is coming and he is adjusting mic settings live, it can also be programmed in advance or in postproduction

Bedankt voor de reactie. Dimash gebruikt wegwerp microfoons omdat ze stuk zijn na zijn krachtige hoge notenzang😂😂 De bloemen geeft hij aan zieke kinderen en volwassenen in hospitalen.

Yes,that is somehow common in Russia when there is a concert with a Singer that is exceptional… like Dimash, also the public is well educated to be respectful with the artist or artists performing.
