This was my introduction to this incredible man. He came to light at the most perfect time ever, and I hated that people politicized it and complained of propaganda by the Chinese government. China was no angel, but the point of the song was to try to unite the world as a human race, and Dimash was the perfect man to do it. All these years later, I STILL cry from beginning to end. I still cannot believe this all happened; one day our school owner called us together for a staff meeting to discuss it and said we would remain open for our children, (all fragile and special needs) for as long as possible. Two days later, we were shocked and shut down. Thank God for computers and homeschooling, within 1 week, we were all up and running remotely, and not one of us lost our job. Quite unbelievable and I will never forget it.

The pandemia was terribly frightening, but it gave me Dimash. I first saw his video SOS at the end of 2019. During 2020, I spent all hours I was awake watching Dimash videos and getting to know many beautiful reactors who felt and showed the impact that Dimash had in their lives just like I did. We are many who feel and think like him, but we need to let our voices shout. Dimash has risked many things by crying out loud again dear and injustice, but he is not scared to do it. He even confronted his own government and they closed his IG account, remember? At the end, he won. I had the same experience! I found Dimash in 2020 and started watching reaction videos for the first time. I don't know what happened to me. I also spent hours watching videos.😆 I joined a fan group for the first time, I bought his perfume, and his 1st signed poster. I had never bought merch from an artist before. (I even have a light-up sign even though I've never been to a concert. 🤦♀) I actually looked into the background of an artist. REALLY looked. The Dimash experience is so crazy. I'm also in NJ! 😲 I'm in the North East, pretty close to PA.

When this song was released we isolated ourselves at home, we were kind of afraid what is going to happen, some were depressed. Back then this song hit really hard especially with the visuals but at the same time it was a glimps of hope and I felt safe and embraced by Dimash. I completely agree - Dimash’s vocals hit differently and I watched this when it was happening with tears streaming down my cheeks. Dimash is a precious human. His vocal - musical - abilities are only a part of the overall package. Peace to you and to the world.
