British Heavy Tank Mk.V Male with full interior for my first WW1 Diorama 

When the beautiful, super-detailed interior was being built and painted I was thinking that the people who watch this video are the only ones who will know it exists.

Another masterful project! We don't see WWI models very often, although it was one of the most important geopolitical events of the 20th century.

Excellent work, my Grandfather served during the first world war, he never spoke of his service, even though he must have seen some terrible sights, he only spoke of the tanks. He witnessed the first use of these behemoths, and was in awe of them.

Amazing work! The liquid masking was a good tip. Like that you dry brush using standard paint ranges and not specialty products.

As they were delivered to the railhead with the gun sponsons detached, I think a great diorama would be the mechanics craning one gun sponson into place while the other is still detached waiting. You could see all the Inside detail and have an interesting (unusual ) subject.

There are not just images online but also videos by The Chieftan and Lindybeige touring the interior and exterior of these monster tanks. You captured most of the brutal aspects of the interior nicely. People should remember that there was no air conditioning, and almost no ventilation leaving the interior filled with fumes from exhaust leaks and from the gun breeches. It’s been said that the first German soldiers to see these tanks were convinced they were about to be devoured by beasts from mythology, but the British soldiers manning them thought that they were in Hell. I’m expecting the diorama to really depress me with how horrific that war was, but we must remember such realities.

Amazing work as always, but I’m curious, and I don’t always read the comments so I don’t know if you’ve already answered this but are the models a commission or are they for your own enjoyment? And if they are, where do you keep them?
