In high school I played a bunch of games with my Korean mates that most British people would have never heard of. So today we are going to teach them to some British High schoolers.
We split them into two teams and the winners get a bunch of Korean snacks!

Can I just say, all games/fun aside, watching the previous year/cast of schoolboys and this year's just shows the absolute comradery all of the boys have. Doesn't matter if they are on the same team or not, they hype each other, celebrate, and overall have such a wonderful time together as teenagers. No animosity or toxicity. A huge feat for the school administration!

I noticed that too! I absolutely love that! It always catches me off-guard when I see it because it's not the same over here in the states. Sometimes it is but it just seems like every year that they show a different group of kids they all get excited no matter who wins or whose team they're on. I absolutely love it!

In my part of the US we also played the game with the “human horse” when I was younger, but we called it Buck Buck. I love how so many things bring people together rather than separate them. That’s the best part of social media…being able to see how much we have in common all around the world. It used to be that people only focused on the differences because that is all that we’d see in the news or other media. But we all have so much more in common than not. It’s channels like this that are so important in highlighting the common things and demystifying the differences. 🥰😊❤️

LOL this is hilarious, when I was in Junior high I was the only korean kid in my school. I used to introduce my friend group to korean games. We'd play paper packets, and the teachers would confiscate them bc the whole class got into them and would get distracted by them. This video reminded me of those good times 😂

I believe it was 2005 when one of the participants on the Korean TV show on X-Man tore his rear cruciate ligament. After this accident, you don't see this on TV anymore.

we also play Malttukbakki here in the Philippines, we call it Tom Sawyer, and boy oh boy, we were brutal in that game. Backs were broken, friendships strengthen, all in all a good game to play in your early years

Health and Safety on that last game was like....um.... This video was great fun! I loved when the highschoolers played against the Korean kids in Korea, but to see some other games---fun and food are just truly the universal languages that we all speak!

America had a game called Pogs and Slammers (if I recall) that is like a mini version of Dakji. From what I watched, it was banned in some playgrounds at school because people lost their pogs or slammers (play for keeps, it was one way to play the game) and cried over it so it was considered gambling. (Similar to Yugioh if you bet cards and lost them)

I think the closest to that in Korea, according the the ones I saw in running man ( K variety) , is the marbles, which is also famous in SE Asia in the Ye Ol' days.
