Taco Bell is definitely not Mexican food, but if I’m really drunk and have a hankering, I’ll get a Nachos Bellgrande at 2am. Really hits the spot. And no, I don’t drive there, it’s right up the street from me 😛

I'm from Los Angeles and lived and worked in Arizona and Texas for years and Taco Bell is not even close to authentic "Mexican" food. It's pretty crappy compared to the real deal. The other thing to understand is that the Mexican food in Southern California is very different from Arizona and both are very different from Tex-Mex (my personal favorite) which is a completely thing on its own. Also, New Mexico is very different from the other three.
yes, New Mexico is in a class all it's own. i live in Phoenix and have lots of family in NM. try to get out there once or twice a year. nothing like fresh roasted hatch green chile.
They didn’t even give the kids any taco sauce! That makes the tacos palatable. 😂 And Baja Blast tastes kind of like Sonics Ocean Water. It’s just fruity and tropical with no distinct flavor profile. It tastes like how sunscreen smells. The school is Fulham Boys School in London. There are no girls because there are no female students. JOLLY only got permission to film there because one of them was childhood friends with the headmaster.
Hey not arguing, cause to each their own but, the tacos are pretty palatable on their own. I do use fire sauce but if they forget it, I still stuff my face hahha. Also Baja Blast is actually SUPPOSED to be "Tropical Lime", not sure that it actually tastes like that, but point was.... there is an intended flavor.

There's no girls because its an all boys school. I believe Josh and Ollie have been friends with the head teacher for quite some time and that's how they were able to get this idea passed. I doubt many schools would allow this and a lot of parental approval would be needed.
My city has a ton of legitimate Mexican restaurants. One of the Taco Bells near me is open 24 hours. Hungry late at night is the only reason I'd go there.

When I was young I thought it was too hot. Now I find it has the perfect heat level for me. But you’re right, it’s not that hot. TB should categorize it as hot and make a hotter one for fire.
@@armpit_farts7327 You're right, I don't think I ever tried diablo. IMO the volcano sauce is the hottest and most tasty but idk if you can ask for it on any items other than the volcano options.
Taco Bell is not Mexican food. I am sure if you went to a real Mexican Place you might change your minds, And they did not offer any of the hot sauces which is a must at TB
@@gobirds4362 from my perspective, it’s once a year… so I don’t mind the $3.69 or whatever it costs nowadays. Still a solid choice, for someone that wants good tasting fast food. Even if the price went up, it’s still worth it.

I think if you think of Taco Bell as fast food and enjoy it as that, it's great. You can't compare it to authentic Mexican food, it's not pretending to be. But it's tasty for the most part, and in the US, open late at night. The damn drive thru is always packed.
brits **NEVER** use the sauces when they taste test T-Bell **NEVER** ha, all love but it's wild there's vats of 4 or 5 different flavor sauce packets right at the checkout and they never ever even appear in these videos. any brits who go to taco bell, PLZ, grab a handful of each kind of sauce or ask for them, they're known for the sauces, you're meant to put it on mostly everything
they needed sauce packets! like that cheese roll-up, you have to put an entire packet into it on each bite . cheesy gordita crunch is definitely the best
I like Mexican restaurants but rarely would I buy a taco at them. Taco Bell is definitely the king at Tacos and Crunchwrap Supreme. I go to Mexican restaurants for fajitas, enchiladas, quesadillas, tortas, pollo rancheros etc

Everything from Taco Bell requires mild/hot sauce. They should have mixed it up a bit more with burritos or nachos. Aidan, if you ever come to the American Southwest, try some authentic Mexican food.

Supreme just means the regular taco/wrap/whatever has sour cream and diced tomatoes added. The school they are at is an all-boys school and that is why they didn't have any girls.
im drinking baja blast right now as im watching this lol.. ive always loved it so much. you used to only be able to get it at the fountain in taco bells, but finally after many many years they now sell it in cans and bottles at grocery stores. It's a very unique flavor, i guess its kind of berry flavored but also citrus flavored.
Supreme means they've added tomatoes and sour cream. They should've done some of these more basic for the kids that think lettuce and tomatoes are "lots of vegetables"
Taco Bell used to be cheaper in the 90s. When I i was a kid like 8 I used to go around to my neighbors in my apartment block and get returnable soda bottles you could take back to the store empty for 10 cents. Then go to Taco Bell.
Yeah, Taco Bell is completely different from Mexican food. It's just Mexican style fast food really. I do like Taco Bell, but nothing beats real Mexican food.

Wow, Mexican food is not in the UK if they think a tortilla is bread. The supreme version is just added ingredients like sour cream. The cheese wrap is meant for kids. I believe in a past video, it has been stated that's an all-boys school. Not sure if that's common in the UK.
Some of their stuffs pretty good and it's low cost filler... Just add the sauce you like if you need a little flavor boost. Another good thing about them is they are open late... so when you're out drinking you can hit the drive through.

Chick-fil-A's sandwiches come with no condiments. They do have lettuce and tomatoes. You tell them what you want added, creating your own chicken sandwich
They film at a boy's school, I guess they have a connection to it. The crunch wrap supreme IMO is worse with lettuce, and every bite is different so you can't just take a couple bites, you need to find where the meat and cheese sauce and sour cream is all at within the tortilla. Eat tacos from the bottom first, lol, I think the headmaster bit one from the top. I would stick with dark soda and not Baja Blast, personally, but from what I remember it isn't so bad it's just a sweet drink but they taste pretty bad once the ice melts. Taco Bell is so good, I'm sorry you guys don't have it there aside from the one lol, I'd definitely go if you could. Also 'Supreme' means that it comes with lettuce, tomato, and sour cream but you can ask to remove the ones you don't want.
Taco Bell it’s not Mexican food. Taco Bell is good you eat when you are high as shit or drunk as hell, and then it’s AMAZING. And the toilet is a mix of all the alcohol, drugs, and Taco Bell so it can’t be made to blame it on just the food. If you eat it sober then you have no one to blame but yourself.
Taco Bell was created by the most famous Mexican chef of his time I think his name was Alberto Del Rio and he was born and raised in Mexico when he opened his first Taco Bell restaurant.
Chick-fil-A is a Christian company. They aren't open on Sundays for the Sabbath. If, when they come to the UK, let us know if they're opened on Sundays there. If they are, my daughter will likely protest. Seems the only time she takes a hankering for them is ALWAYS on Sunday. 😂

The "shells" are called tortillas. The soft one is a "flour tortillas" (made from wheat flour) and the crunchy one is a "corn tortilla" made from Corn. Tortillas are used to make a lot of things in Mexican food: Tacos and burritos, etc., etc. Taco Bell is horrible fast food. What was funny to me was all the boys seemed to really only want just the meat anything else was just in the way of them getting to the meat! 😂
taco bell isn't mexican food any more than nando's is gourmet italian food. also mexican food isn't all the same thing. it's one of the most diverse cuisines in the world.
Burritos, tacos and nachos is minimal basics of Mexican. Try them all before you say you dont like Mexican food. What about Fajitas, Flautas, Carna Asada, Enchiladas, Tostadas, etc.
Taco Bell is only good when you drunk and/or stoned and there isn't any other food options besides that late night drive thru. It is American version of what they think is Mexican, similar to Panda Express in terms of Chinese food. There are many authentic Mexican food options all across the US.

Taco Bell may not be authentic Mexican food, but it's still Mexican food. I mean it's not Italian, French, Chinese, Thai........ It's Mexican the way David Hasselhoff is German.
