You called someone a dummy for what reason? He was telling the truth! The cacao beans, the pods came from Mexico! Mexico did, and it's very true! The Mayans in Mexico, invented it, made chocolate for drinking only, several hundred thousands of years ago. The first solid chocolate wasn't invented until the 1850s, by an Englishman. But yes, Mexico did invent chocolate first.

Japanese peanuts are Mexican, as weird as it sounds. They were invented by a Japanese-Mexican guy back in 1940 in Mexico City. The main ingredient in the coating is soy sauce.

Tamarind is definitely an acquired taste. I know it is not common in Europe, but here in Mexico is everywhere as sweets, hot spicy sweets, drinking mixes and aguas frescas, soft drinks, cocktails, etcetera.

for the salty ones might be, but not all tamarindo is spicy, the guy who sent them candy just forgot to put some traditional sugar tamarindo. actually they just skipd all tradicional mexican sweets, but the spoons

I wondered if they were going to like the tamarind flavoured stuff. We had a tree in our back yard, in Arizona, so I chewed the beans right off of the tree. They get sweeter as they dry. Where were the saladitos?

@@dago259 Not really, there are like 10 different types of horchata, even the egyptians had it's own. It's made from a variety of different ingredients, rice, oat, sesame, coconut, etc... Please, do your research.

Es incorrecto, la horchata es de origen español. No es de origen mexicano (aunque a diferencia de otras tiene un sabor distinto en todas las regiones, creanme; en algunas más canela, sin canela, poco arroz, con toque de maizena, hecha jarabe, sin fin) . Es muy fácil hasta como mexicanos confundirla. Vayan a Valencia y pidan una horchata, verán la diferencia.

Wow!! That is the first actual athentic Mexican candy box I've seen foreigners trying on RU-vid! Whoever sent you that box did a pretty good job! Most of my all time favorites were there! As many more, I also would've lost it if you put those candy spoons on hot water 😂😂😂 I also thought you were gonna eat the Zuko horchata powder just dry with your hands 😳😂😂😂 Great video! Best one I've seen so far about people trying Mexican candy!

Hi, I'm from Mexico,the name of the candy you eat, with a metallic bag is a "mamut", cookie, marshmallow and cover with chocolate. You ate the spoon candy, as it should. It is so popular in here, even without a label. We have a lot of that kind of candy. And "ZUCO" it is not really a candy or snack, it's just a concentrate of a tradicional drink that actually, I truely recomend you to try it if you come to Mexico, but the real Horchata. It is so fuking good!
