I remember my childhood (early 60s)being brought up in a block of flats on the perimeter of Nine Elms shunting, often was woken up by trains being shunted. Good memories.
Another interesting video,Alrx. I visited the Kent and East Sussex Railway a few years ago on one of my coach tours. I'm always amazed at your collection of archive material. Keep it coming.

Nine Elms was a real beastie to get in you always had to bring a couple of old pullover’s to put over the barbed wire topped wall junior commando times! Once in British Railways officials let you look around and take numbers and photos.

@@alrxanderwylie6512 Cheers my best shed visit was Shrewsbury were myself and a group of trainspotters got shown around the shed by the manager in his three piece suit, ok one of the lads was his nephew, but the thought was there.

Is a shame that the Steam locomotives Ar retired..... And i hate that Thes stupid gross Dume Diesel locomotive toke over, i hate diesels BC They replaced the Steam era....
