I love these starter box showdowns! For german/British ideas, I'd suggest the Afrika Korps box for the germans. Quite good value and some unique picks (88mm artillery being the centerpiece of the army). The British 8th army sprue is pretty great too, though it comes with 2 artillery units which require a western desert theater selector to use both here. German winter infantry box is also great if you wanna stay in Europe. Keep up the great content guys!!
@@scholaprogenium7276 Hey whats the 2.5 Rule on small teams? Are they Minus 1 to hit? If I move lets say, I hit now on a 5 plus, but because they are a small team on a 6+? When the Sniper hits and wounds, there can no Saves taken for that shot. I had tons of fun yesterday. I feel BA has Improved, and I already liked 2nd Ed!
Absolutely, Staghound is currently the best british armoured car, however it is a tad pricey with the humber doing mostly the same job for a lot lower cost. If you want the armoured car to be useful against vehicles and infantry go staghound, if you need it to focus on vehicles then humber mkiv is enough! o7
Good to see Starter Army boxes getting proper footage. Just about to build a 1100 Tournament army for Britcon using the Afrika Korps starter as a base, will be doing a few videos covering the army build and paint.
Sounds cool, I'm sure it will be a potent and thematic force! Perhaps we will face off at Britcon, who knows I may get to see the new army up close and personal! Haha
Yikes!!! An AVRE will give anything it hits a bad day! It's getting it to hit something that makes it hard to play unless there are buildings on the table and your opponent is unaware of the danger - lol.
Yeah the winter box seems great, none of them are a perfect combination, I miss their old army builder deal on their website where you could select different options and make your own!
