I also remember when this song came out in 2000, i was only bout 19 going 20 too. And now, I'm 41 going 42 this year too. It just goes to show yuh time does fly!
It really sucks when you see yourself from your room watching past performances and as you're singing along, you realize you are changing the length and lyrics of the song on accident because when you're doing that with your songstress (Kelvin, BSJ Trust) as I had realized every one of the songs I penned and recorded, and then was told to casting couch it or give up singing, and so I’ve had to sit out because my future was ripped for it. People kept trying to introduce us (especially in AZ and NY) then now I’m in SF and I got to meet your Dad for a minute, although we didn’t talk about anything except food donations, since he was in a system that I needed to sign up and understand to receive food the right way. -Love, Kelvin
I am here for you ❤ you more then ever...when you find out it was all this tiime...I will be waiting for you with open arms... 16 years it's been I counted ever day...xoxoxoxo
Does anyone else notice she seems preoccupied throughout the performance and keeps looking down while fiddling with her headset / earpiece. What is she doing? Does she think the mic isn't working? For example, at 0:37, she's fiddling with her headset and her backup dancer comes up behind her, frantically gesturing at her head to someone at the back of the room. At 0:49 she starts fiddling again, looking at the ground. At 1:37 she's fiddling again, and at 3:00 she's s STILL fiddling.
@@BruceBatters Yeah, but... they didn't tell her?? They just let her figure it out in the middle of the performance? That doesn't make sense. And if they had already started doing that, this wouldn't be the first time. I think there's something wrong with her headset
@@sorrowful90 its turned on unlike most of her performances and she has to watch its positioning If you watch other singers with a headset they have to move it periodically or it goes to close. I have used them mic and when your singing as the lead not backing under a tape its hard because it moves and pops. Other live ones she still sang with the tape which hid any pops or breathing if the mic went close that or didn't dance so the positioning didn't move as much. She is doing it 90% live and dancing. Hard. Plus perhaps it is playing up . Maybe it wasn't on well enough..
@@natirasohumana oh come on, barely. It's the most I've heard her live but it's still 80-90% recording. They did give her a live mic while performing though which is rare
@@Bphillips2808 this one is not 80-90% recording as the vocals are mostly not from the album vocals except for one "not innocent~". There are plenty of performances she sings live, especially from 1998-2000 and 2003-2004, just hit the search button. You comment that on one of those. I just don't know what to tell you.
@@natirasohumana yeah, I was just asking it she ever actually sings live. I saw something from her Vegas show where she lip synced the performance and then looked back on one early performances to see if she always did that and found this. If you're saying that there are periods where she did sing I'll look that up
But saying she's singing here is a real stretch. The album vocals are playing and she's essentially doing background vocals under the recording. There are parts where you can hear her but almost everything you hear here is the album
