Although this was NOT the ONLY defense in Court her Parents had, it was ABSOLUTELY one of the Symptoms of Bipolar Disorder. They had a LIST of things/symptoms and Doctors in Court. That's why the Judge gave her father Conservatorship.

One, I don't think someone would claim that they were not there when there were cameras quite literally everywhere, and it could get easily verified if she was or wasn't at the house that night. I'm not saying she was or wasn't for a fact because I don't know. However, have you ever had to deal with the police; Outside of a simple traffic stop, if you have endured a traffic stop? If what you are saying happened to be accurate, her lying about the cops “leaving,” I can almost guarantee it was not something done with ill-will. That sounds like someone trying to get their loved one to come out on their own and not have to experience the alternative of the police coming in and removing her themselves because the cops will indeed do just that. Family members will lie to avoid a forced removal by law enforcement because they care about their loved ones going through that, not because they are vindictive. As a mother who's had her fair share of struggles and who understands why any mother would not want to give her babies back just yet, I also am not shocked in the slightest that the number of squad cars there that night was high, along with an ambulance. Does that make it right necessarily? Of course not, but as I think about someone else’s comment regarding how many officers and people showed up and thinking that that is something unusual, it's not unusual or even suspicious based on just that alone.

He was granted full conservatorship over her. He claimed she was mentally incapable of retaining a lawyer - and since the judge agreed to this at the onset, she was forbidden her human right to retain counsel to defend herself for 12 years.

The legal and psychiatry systems failed a woman who was a victim of domestic abuse. They gave an abused woman’s abuser complete control over her career, finances, and personal life. This is legalized domestic abuse.

So I would say he has done a pretty good job. People are making huge assumptions about a private matter that the public knows little about. Yes, I think it is important that the court and social welfare look into it. And they have. Every hearing they have about continuation includes a Doctor's report. The doctors are not recommending the conservatorship end. If this was anyone else people wouldn't even care but because she is a star the public thinks they should get a say?

I literally cannot find any proof that she actually had a breakdown. Most of the people commenting seem to have forgotten to watch this video. She did have weird behaviour issues like neediness and moving too quickly with people I have noticed, but she was young and stupid. Britney's housekeeper said the same thing. She was told not to talk to Britney, not answer her phone calls, Jamie told her he was in control, fired her, and threatened her. Only she said this back in 08. But, hell no. Britney didn't need help, she needed a break and some privacy. A conservatorship is designed for the demented and senile elderly. That was never meant to help, it was meant to control. It is unheard of to do that to a young woman.
