Rachel's situation is sad, but I dont feel bad for her. She's 39yrs old. They were only married 4yrs (a fact I wish these articles would include). So she was 35 when she CHOSE to marry him. How long did they date? How much was he making when they met? What was his lifestyle after The Bachelorette & before the marriage? Did she vet him at all? I need some details before I swipe her victim card. Right now its denied. Sorry 🤷🏾 At the end of the day, its not really my place to judge her since I dont have to pay the consequences of her mistakes, she does (literally). And no one is perfect. Most of us dont even make enough money to have been in her position to even have the chznce to make such an expensive mistake. My opinion doesn't matter unless she cares about her public perception & it affects her career. If so, she gots some explaining to do if she wants us on her side. 😐

One of my brothers gave me the best advice ever -if you have to pay anyone (that you don’t want to) make the payment in a variety of coins. Go to the bank request the amount -get the receipt and unwrap the coins, put it in a bag and mix well.

In the early 2010s I worked with a chiropractor as an office manager, I did the billing. On average yearly he earned $250,000k. There were years he brought in considerably more like 50-80 more. He had 2 children his wife was a stay home mom. They each owned new cars. He was taking care of his mother and her major expenses, she had an in-law suite in the home they owned. His wife constantly shopped, always had her nails & hair done, regularly covered her friends lunches(this one of the reasons leading to divorce) and took the kids on trips to Disney twice a year. He bought coffee, breakfast & lunch daily and dry cleaned everything but his underwear. They’re divorced now. He remarried bought a new house, sent his daughter to nursing school, son went to military. He now only has his office open 3 days a week, that’s how comfortable he is and he ain’t even 55. All that to say just like Rodney said he could have made a name for himself in LA just like he was working, taking care of himself in Miami or wherever he’s from. He coulda had him a chiropractic office and a reality show cracking backs. He not tryna make nothing shake. Just like she said he’s a leech to say the least.

I need the girls to realize going on a dating show and having the production pay for the fancy dates, the dresses the girls wear, makeup, hair, shoes, and pay for all the activities they do in these shows. It’s not real and the men are never rich. Only thing they get is a free wedding ring that’s sponsored with the show contract. I would have my separate investment accounts and it's none of his business what is in it and I would hope that them getting married in their 30s meant he had his own investment accounts. I get it. You don't get married planning for divorce, but I've seen too many marriages where a spouse who works has to ask for permission to spend money and I don't like that. If household bills are handled, we're each adding to our separate investment accounts monthly then what is left to discuss and share?
