@@suessermichi no i think she was just pissed off and annoyed at media. There's lots of ppl who do drugs but sober up or give better interviews. This was her just being fed up with media repetitive questions. Actually made me like Britney more hahaha😆
I think it was a mixture of both those two comments above. Cos she started hanging out with Paris Hilton and Lindsey Lohan at this time I'm pretty sure...
@@x4taxlixx964 no.... shes a sagittarius... we are sarcasm city. Dont ask us stupid questions. When you do, you will get this reaction from us 😂 a million percent
It pisses me off when these reporters ask Britney questions like what does your mom think. What question is that he would never ask a guy that same question. Like he wouldn't ask Justin Timberlake what would your mom say ripping off Janet Jackson's bra.
I remember when these kinds of interviews with her came out. I used to think it was annoying when I was young, but now I see what she was doing, and appreciate the sheer brilliance in her sarcasm. "You want me to be this thing you keep talking about, well here ya go". I respect her sooo much for the way she handled and conducted herself. She knew when people deserved professionalism or not, and even when they got it, they sure as hell didn't deserve it from her.
The guys talking about her at the end was really weird and walked the line of being disrespectful. You could also tell how oblivious they were to her sarcasm lmao
Why? The world gave her fame and support when she was trying to get out of her Conservativeship. Quite frankly, I'd say the world has been very good to her.
I never realized how Southern her voice was until now. Then again, she was born in the South but I just now heard it. I love it, makes everything about this interview more iconic.
whenever she starts speaking really fast it gets really southern but, in some interviews, she almost would intentionally thicken it up or bring it down idk its hard to tell if it's deliberate or not
You poor people have to realise that britney is playing fool -.- cuz here's some 12 year old kids sayin' that that's the time when she start going crazy -.- really?!
@@c.l.1820 because she hated him before the interview started? You think that maybe this isn’t Britney’s first run in with Tucker and CNN? Do you think that maybe that’s possibly been pissing her off this entire time up to this point? Just a thought...🤦🏻♂️
@@bradford_shaun_murray ha ha ha yeah right? Right on the edge of being a professional stalker. Choking his chicken while watching and commenting RU-vid videos, lol!🤦♂️
It is called acting/performing, she does it in most of her interviews. She is portraying a character that the world wants her to be, or the way she wants to be seen. I am a huge Britney Spears fan. I like the way she is now. I feel that she is finally being herself.
@@themaggattack chewing gum, giving sarcastic answers, dirty looks, making it blatantly obvious that she hates Tucker and CNN...? I don’t know, it’s just a vibe I get...? 😁🤦🏻♂️
people comment on her modern interviews saying things like "oh she just doesnt have her old energy anymore.. the press destroyed this woman!!" and then meanwhile you look at the comments of her old interviews where she actually does have that energy you speak of and everyone's saying "oh look you can already tell shes going crazy ahah!!!!" no wonder she's more reserved on television interviews now. the general public hasn't learned our lesson and we're just as judgmental as we were in 2007.
Pros and cons of this Britney interview. PROS: Britney’s attitude Her dorky personality CONS: PUTTING THIS INTERVIEW ON CNN. She kissed Madonna. Oh damn. Does that deserve to waste CNN’s airtime? No put it on MTV. Them really putting her under the crossfire with this. Asking her questions they knew she would immediately get judged for. For example the WAR IN IRAQ question. Yes that was a big subject at the time, but for them to ask it to a 20/21 year old popstar who’s every move was already watched and judged elsewhere, and to an audience like CNN, what! Fact: The media really sucks sometimes. Ps- Yes this interview was 11 years ago but just re watching it, I pointed out these annoying things.
I feel like the golden age of her career were the times when US decided to mess with the west Asian oil. So asking the popstar of the situation about the current government would obviously result in her giving a positive answer, or else she probably wouldn't make her relations with the dedicated or governmental investors better, and that could lead to a downfall. Since she is trying to seem as natural as she could be while probably backed up by the producers, the Madonna thing was most likely a quick distraction. And as a role model, she was actually able to give the intended message to the crowd.
“My favorite kind of Pepsi? Pepsi is Pepsi” Britney was giving me life before I knew I needed it! And god bless her for having to sit through an interview with Tucker Carlson...
I can't help but wonder what Britney's life would have been like had she moved to London. Perhaps she wouldn't have met Kevin, or maybe she'd have brought him with her. The paparazzi weren't as intense in London, however, so I think that would have been better for her. Then again, hindsight is a great thing.
The paparazzi aren't as intense in London? Haha. Ok. The Sun is infamous for phone tapping celebs. British Tabloids are BRUTAL. They will do anything, break any law, they will cross any and every boundary just to smear celebs.
Imagine being a journalist preparing for an interview with one of the biggest superstars in the world and thinking “I’m gunna ask her what Pepsi is her favorite Pepsi.”
Britney Spears saw right through Tucker Carlson’s bullshit. She was one of the first. 😆 Too bad people still believing his shit now don’t see through it.
Why is that shocking? They all do the rounds on the various networks. They are just talking heads doing what they are paid for. Don't actually think everyone at CNN is Left and everyone at Fox is right. It's all a joke...don't buy in.
To be fair though Tucker was on a CNN show called Crossfire where he represented the political right. It's not like he completely changed all his views
I know she was around 21 here but I love her bubbly teenage girl attitude. The gum chewing, the energy, and the sarcasm (My favorite kind of Pepsi? Pepsi's Pepsi! Lmao).
She took one look at this guy and saw a critic! That’s why she behaved the way she did and oh my she nailed it. She acted out for him because she knew that was what he was expecting her to behave like. This isn’t the real Britney of course as she’s quite reserved and sweet but she really made me chuckle here. I adore this woman for having a spine. As a Sagittarius myself this is classic behaviour when prompted 😂😂
I just wanted to give a shout-out to those that are still watching in 2015. I have been a huge Britney fan since I was little and used to have a Britney wall in my childhood room. Haha. ( That's besides the point.) The two things that stood out to me the most are that 1) Tucker asked for her thoughts on President Bush and 2) that she was chewing gum during the interview. The wig? That's just Britney, I think. Those are just my opinions. No comment if she is doing drugs here or if she just disliked that guy.
@@themaggattack but she wasn’t dumb she was just acting snarky and sarcastic. It’s a shame the public really thought she was an air head. The thing about bush it was bad at the time to say anything negative because your career would have been over. For example, Dixie Chicks. Patriotism was everywhere cause of post-9/11.
@@jeannettejurado7850 plus, she was about to be radio unbanned when she did this interview. She wouldn't risk to spend more time banned by doing the same thing that got the Dixie Chicks and Madonna banned
She was pushed to sing in a baby high-pitched voice to fit the pop songs she sing but when she started music as a child she used to sing in a low diva voice. I recommend to search it up she had an amazing voice as a kid !
Why? Her energy is directed at CNN and Tucker for writing so many nasty stories about her. If you’re a fan of Britney, you know she doesn’t like CNN and Fox News as they came for her a lot during her career.
I found it so odd for Tucker to say his first impression is that " it would be wrong to have adult thoughts about Britney Spears" so was that his thought before the interview because coming off as "young" was an act.
I love that reaction to the Pepsi question.... That was really quite a funny and sarcastic response from her to a dumb question - "Candidly, just between you and me...", as if she hadn't noticed the television crew and camera 5 inches away from her face!
Coming here two years later to say there's nothing wrong with being bipolar. 😌 Of course I have it, and yes this interview gives off major hypermanic vibes.
Honestly I like her. But I guess she always plays the ingenuous girl because it's easier. She knows there is a lot of pression around her. If she had said "fuck the president", this would go straight to the magazine covers!
People here are so crazy, she's just being sarcastic here, now all of you are doctors to give your diagnosis? hahahaha don't make me laugh please. Was she starting to mentally fall? yes, she was, when David Lachapelle directed the Everytime video he said Britney had an awful depression and that she was locked on her room in a hotel near the place that they were filming or something like that, but you can't see signs of anything, oh my god, if she's not laughing all the time it means that she's showing craziness signs? Don't be ridiculuous please.
You make it sound so simple but you can't explain the FACT that she-among other pop starlets- did stand out and made millions of fans! She is just special and the fact that you can't define the quality that made her popular doesn't make her less of a diva.Otherwise we wouldn't be here supporting her so strongly.....
And the interviewer guy thought she was fool and childish? Lol shame on you bud, she made him look just like that and he probably wouldn’t even noticed. She’s an Icon.
shes so young here. See i love Britney here i really do shes cute and very southern and young. I honestly love Britney in every stage in her life. She Is a true inpiration for me. when shes happy i smile. when shes sad i cry. i love her.
Lo que sea que consumía en esa época QUE POR FAVOR LO VUELVA A HACER!!!! Es tan chistosa esta entrevista q pasan y pasan los años y no me canso de verla, definitivamente esta versión volada de Brit es la q más me encanta
Look, I'm not saying Tucker Carlson became a rageaholic bigot because they stopped letting him do silly interviews with celebrities where he's clearly having way more fun, I'm just saying maybe we should let him have a silly interview with Olivia Rodrigo or Justin Bieber and maybe that'll mellow him out a bit.
