She didn't ruin her life... she simply missed out on her childhood days because she's been so busy making fans all over the world and didn't get a chance to be a kid. So in her early 20's she had 2 kids, maybe had a case of post pardem depression, and acted out, made mistakes, i know its hard 2 believe but she is human just like u and i. And as someone once said.. we all need to make mistakes, otherwise, how will we learn and become stronger? She is bouncing back and her worldwide fan loves her!

It's weird because her singles released became a soundtrack of my life. During Stronger, I was healing from the family crisis. On Don't Let Me..., I was leaving graduating high school and all of the crushes the guys in school had on me they were finally admitting to that I never knew. During Crazy in 1999, it was an exciting time attending a lot of New Year's Eve parties throughout the tropics. During Not A Girl & Overprotected, college life & it's workload really solidified my work ethic.

I remember that Happy Meal promotion in the summer of 2000; ironically they had a McDonald's at the Cleveland Clinic when my family and I dealing with two family members who were fatally ill. It seemed such an odd coincidence at that same time when the Lucky video premiered, when everyone at school thought I was doing okay when my family was dealing with the crisis.
During From The Bottom, my group of friends from middle school had completely broken up. During I'm A Slave 4 U, I was entering college and it was a whole new social world.
