She may need medication now because of all the psychiatric medication they had her on during the conservatorship, a lot of people don’t realize the long and short term life altering affects those medication’s have. People do care. There are a lot of therapies out there that can help people, but you have to WANT to take responsibility for yourself/thoughts and actually want to change. It's easier for people to use it as an excuse, than to find help and coping skills.
