Not gonna lie but “I knew once I was accepted into being a young, female, teen, pop artists; THERE’S gonna be a lot more OF ME!!!“ WTF?? I remember being made of because I couldn’t find a Christina Aguilera album (hadn’t came out yet) and still remember the store employee saying, “well this one is popular” in regards to Britney’s debut album; since females weren’t “popular” they had ignored Christina’s number one track, twice in a row with stellar vocals. Thankfully one of those same tracks won her a Grammy less than a year later. So at 10; on a road trip to New Mexico; I said fine since it was my first American road trip. At this time few people know who she was, but I had seen the Latina talent (based on name)!!! I still remember listening to this album on the drive back here, and hating soda pop for some reason. Christina Changed it all for me. Britney was more about dancing and putting on a show.I was offended for Christina for this interview.
