This guy is probably my favorite interviewer...ever. He's so laid back and real and he doesn't insult her or push uncomfortable topics, and he's not at all awkward to watch. Good for him. Wish there were more like him out there.

She looks so different from 2017 Brit. I get that she was a teenager here and she's in her mid 30s now but theirs just a big difference. Almost an entirely different personality. The press really killed this woman's spirit.

Wow the industry reeally did s.t to her. What a difference She used to be soo carefree and goofy and endearing in interviews. And now she's really reserved , almost as if she's afraid to speak and really say what's on her mind. I really don't blame her though, the media just tore her apart.
The host is very good and professional; it was very good interview. ...and Britney is just lovely. This darn media affected her life, spread gossip, put so much dirt on her just to sell magazine with one FACE scandal fact about her after another, so people buy those magazines. Lots of people made $$ ruining her image. For what..??? She was and is sweetheart, free-spirited girl, but they broke her.... I wish she could sue every single magazine now and f win. I am so happy she is reserved now, because she lost the trust, and needs to stay shielded and protected from intrusions. Makes me wonder how all these people (Managers, coaches, parents, after all) let media tear her apart like that? I hope Britney is with people who protect her life, image and private life. We love you very much, Britney. Wanted to see you in Las Vegas, but my two days there did not your concerts days. Next time..!! Please remember you ARE loved by millions of fans. But I also wish that everyone leaves you alone and you can enjoy and live life you want: home, kids and good man who loves you. Even during this interview, you said that after the show, you wish to have normal life (something like that). I can only imagine how you wanted it all these years. Warmest Regards.

My goss she is so different now in interviews than she was before. She was more relaxed and comfortable. Now she's always scared and fiddling with her hands or something.
She used to be so lovely and alive. I think it all went down after she started dating Kevin Federline and the divorce, maybe she never thought her personal life would turn out to be like that.
danyphat1 “lovely and alive” you really pinpointed it. She doesn’t give interviews like this anymore. I am quite hopeful she will return to this. I understand we aren’t the same person we were 10+ years ago, but that happiness she had. The happiness is really lacking now.
I've never seem a very good interview like this, i can see these guy made feel so good to Britney; all the time she was smiling and it is very good for her; but i saw other interviewers that made cry britney and that is very bad; but i love this interviewer he made smile her, lol....everybody could see this time with britney she smiled so much; she really felt so happy, i love britney; i love how she talks; i love her voice; i love everything at all about her, she showed and has showed she is the queen of Pop music. Congratulations for her; maybe nowadays and the last she has done so many things wrong . but i think definetily nobody's perfect she's a woman; a good mother; she has put all her love and all the way to make everybody feels so good and happy about her music; love you britney my best favorite pop star forever.

I could not beleive it when I recently saw her. Omg. She looks like a look alike Britney Spears...it was do sad to see what she did to her face. What a shame. I wonder if she is happy with it ?

If this interview did take place around 2002, then they were just starting to take more control of what she said and/or did in any apperences she made on anything. That's where the song 'Overprotected' came from. Even though I don't like how her life has become compared to back then, I do have admit that it was a really nice marketing move for Jive. They let the people get to know the real Britney before practically cutting her off from being herself with her fans. This Brit is like a drug.
I wish Britney would go back to being a brunette with blonde highlights. A natural beauty there. The platinum blonde is too much. Go back to basics. Style, looks, and music wise.
We see this britney in the video because she was no being held back. She didn't let the papz take over her life. She was in love with justin at the time and not with fed-ex. I really feel he ruined her and all the toxic people she let into her life. I don't think she has complete control over her life.

Yeah. She was never the same after Justin's breakup. And then marring scumbag K-Fed, and loosing her status as a "teen idol"... Thankfully her dad stepped in and she seems to be "ok" now. But in her eyes you just dont see that sparkle and happiness anymore.
Just imagining him asking Taylor Swift or Selena any of those questions and them asking why he's focusing on their looks and "girl talk" and when he's gonna get to the real stuff. Times have changed!
She was so happy and radiant, she was in love with Justin, her career was at the Top, all the problems and dramas did not yet exist. Britney started to change after breaking up with Justin, from there she lost her splendor, little by little the light went out in her eyes.
Definitely one of my favorite interviews of Britney! She was so outgoing, happy, and you can tell she loved what she does! It kind of sucks to see her so robotic and lifeless sometimes, like on the Xfactor. Forever a fan and will support Britney :)

Britney has always been regarded as one of the nicest people in the industry, even Oprah was shocked at how nice and sweet britney was after her appearance on oprah winfrey show. Some of her outfits from the early days were pretty tragic. Her stylist did her wrong so many times. Late 90s-00s fashion was kinda hideous though.
People! she has been doing this for 20 years ! after breaking down in front of the wntire world me too I woulnd like to take some time off but I feel like she's was forced to continue. She had a past as a star, and fans and contracts and people still treating her as a money machine. I really miss this Britney so much!!! I would like to have her back but she's 27, she has a family and she has the right to move on from these past years of stardom. I enjoy Britney but I enjoy more Britney beeing herself and doing what she really want to do.
