"Extra's" Mario Lopez caught up with Britney Spears at Universal Studios Hollywood to talk about her Tuesday morning helicopter ride, residency at Las Vegas' Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, and what she thinks of Miley Cyrus.

I love seeing that Britney is doing interviews and is a bit more talkative. I can see she is still dealing with her anxiety. With time things will get better. Im just glad to see that she is working and looks healthy.
Thank you Britney for being the only artist brave enough to defend Miley. I agree that people are being too prudish. Miley is just having fun and people need to stop judging her. I'll always be a huge fan of Britney Spears, she is amazing.
One of the best Britney interviews I've seen in a while. So sweet, sincere, and happy. She still plays with her hands a lot, I've noticed her doing this a lot on interviews that past 4 years, especially on Ellen. With Mario it was a great balance between the host and celebrity, and I like ellen but britney was more quiet with ellen doing all the jokes and talking.
Watching this video now it makes me realize that one of the reasons she felt so naturally happy was because her brain was in safe mode, back to child-like defenses in which she could be herself. All the trauma she’s endured has caused her mind to fracture/split and create personas of herself. The one that is most uncomfortable for us viewers to watch today in 2020 is her trying to be the adult she thinks the world expects of her which comes across as child-like. I pray angels continue to watch over her and that she one day finds peace 🙏🏼💙
Her interviews with Mario Lopez always are great. She is so comfortable and really herself around him. That's why I'll always like Mario ! She is so funny and cute in this interview. Love you my dear Britney
Any interview Mario does with Britney, you can see the real her. He is one of the few interviewers that respects and admires her as an artist and human being. Love these two together! So nice to see calm happy Britney! #FREEBRITNEY

See y’all, when Britney is comfortable and relaxed she is SAME OLE GIRL FROM 1999. She’s just so damn nervous shy and anxious in most interviews today because she’s became super shy over the years. But when she trusts you, she’s no different. Shes not nearly as dumb as many make her out to be. She’s way more expressive and talkative when she’s around people that she likes. It’s amazing to still see old girl still there.

i think the reason why this interview when so smooth its because she feels comfortable with mario. they worked together for almost a year now in the x factor

She seems totally calm around Mario i think its because he is and always has been really down to earth and he prob has welcoming calming energy that makes her feel comfortable to be herself and just laugh and relax

She's so nice and sweet. It makes me feel so proud I can't even explain. Britney has been my favorite singer since I was 11 and now I'm 18 and she's still my everything. I love her so much I don't care about what people say. She's the only one. Can you imagine that she's that 18 years old girl singing Baby One More Time? It's so amazing see how everything happened and how she's here now. STILL HERE. FOR HER FANS. 'CAUSE SHE LOVES WHAT SHE DO. And I love even more.

Wow it's like she's back!! It seemed like she was just a shell of her former self for the last few years...so touching to see this open lively engaging HAPPY side of her again! I really didn't know if we ever would after FTR circus/FF era :( Sooooo beyond happy now :))) Go Britney!!!
I think part of it is also that Mario is a great interviewer and he made her feel comfortable. She's mechanical during interviews when people ask her the same ol' generic questions and don't really attempt to engage with her.
she is just adorable and just think about baby one more time, oops i did it again, slave 4u, toxic, gimme more etc so many legendary moments! She is no doubt a significant legend in pop culture history
