No matter how you see it there’s a reason she became one of the biggest pop stars of the last 2 decades and I don’t just mean good looks she developed a huge following simply by being a great performer in front of a live crowd and if you think about it today half the pop stars on the charts can’t sing so performance is everything today
The reason she started lip-syncing is because she also danced. Search for her "Baby one more time" performance on Howie Mendel's show. It wasn't terrible, but it's basically impossible to dance and sing at the same time. When I was a tween who loved her it made me mad at first but then you realize that if you don't wanna watch her just stand around and half-ass the dancing, then she's gonna have to lip-sync.

Britney doesn't dance holding mic like her she's always do jumping moves .. Maybe that's why... Ah and we can't deny that both of them have incredible voices and dancers
