@@user-pd5uv3si3w billy childs has earned the disdain from the old band that comes his way. they were all against him doing this. a few times, dean and the band have come close to playing some gigs, however michael kelly smith has ZERO desire to tour anymore. billy does this, and its just a tarnish to the small legacy they have.
@@matthewandphee3649 No, it's not. It's just a comment from a toddler with a full diaper. Get over it and enjoy the fact that they're out there playing the music for people to enjoy and stop trying to ruin it. Sometimes the guys and ladies in the bands read these comments and the rest of us would rather like to see them out performing feeling appreciated instead of this kind of insult. It takes a little bit of effort to do what they do. Show some gratitude.
@@RockDawg77 I have respect for the bands who put in the effort to stay together. I don't know how old you are but I was listening to Britny Fox in the 80's in Junior High. I grew up with Metal. It's sad to see the number of bands who are jut a shell of the original.
@@matthewandphee3649 Same time period here. Metal head from the beginning. Just glad that people are out there pounding keeping things going. If we're lucky, we'll see another great scene like we had back then. This time around, the legends like Deep Purple are still playing and the legacy bands from our era like Extreme and George Lynch are out there tearing it up with wicked new chops more than ever. Anytime people take the time to put something together and hit the road, we're in baby! ;)
After playing this several times like 15 or more....I can say it grows on you....and it becomes really enjoyable and kinda good 2 the ears....I like his voice....a lot and Greg is awesome.
Were you able to hear Dizzy live?? This was my High School years. Dizzy will always be my favorite. Guess i just miss the original line up. My youth ya know.
I think if bands want to continue with fewer and fewer original members and/or lineup changes they should at least name the band accordingly, like Britny Fox V2, Britny Fox V3, L.A. Guns V2... L.A. Guns V1001, etc.
Nah just call it what it is. I saw RATT in 2001 and Pearcy was the only original. He billed a tour as Ratt and it was basically Arcade members. The ticket said RATT...at that time Jizzy Bobby Blotzer Robbie Crane Warren and John Corabi all had a Ratt band also. I thought that was who I was going to see that night but it was Pearcy and Friends calling themselves Ratt instead. Great show none the less.
@@bobbyw1510 Billy is laughing all the way to the bank with this tribute band. The singer has some pipes but this looks like standard garage band from the midwest.
The lead singer does a really good job of sounding like Dean Davidson. Love this song. But you know, the band needs some energy and not just stand around.
Shouter is a good match but not to be envied doing this high pitch struggle night after night.☝️Guess he should deserve an extra buck as injury compensation😁.
Listen I grew up in the 80s and love 80s music and this band sound sounds great but there are some things that should be left in the 80s. Britny Fox is one of them
Fantastic song. Hopefully being there live sounded better than this recording. That vocal performance wasn't exactly spot-on either, but hey, at least they're giggin.
@@themobseat I didnt say the new band sucks. What i meant to say was i want the og group back together. And no rush doesnt suck now. Its just different.
@@themobseat You could have come up with a better example, 3 piece band with only one not being original. Don't forget that Rush didn't become the Rush we know until that replacement drummer showed up.
@@bobbyw1510 oh wow its been so long I didnt recognize him,I didnt hear ahead of time he was in the band that only Billy was going to o it sorry for the miscue
@@LuisMorales-xr1gm ....do you think the original guys will go out again?...I personally think they won't...what's Johnny D said? I think that band had as much potential to be as big as Cinderella..think they were too similar .
@@thomasmurphy9348 I really don't know if they will. I haven't talked to Johnny D in awhile as I believe he lives overseas now. I used to see Michael Kelly Smith in Lansdale ,Pa but I haven't seen him in a few years. As far as Dean Davidson, I have no idea where he is or what he's doing. I'd love them to get together and do some shows. If I get a hold of Johnny D I'll ask him and let you know what he says
Maybe just a little....guitar is on point. Singer is raw and gritty and melodic. Maybe this guy is a fan of Dizzy Dean Davidson or Triple D as I like to call him😃.
